- Yamanashi Hokuto Sutamacho Shimotsugane 2961-3
- A farm activity center located in Sutama Town, Yamanashi Prefecture. The facility's design was modeled after the wooden Tsugane School building built in 1924, and in spite of its modern facilities a nostalgic, old-fashioned atmosphere hangs in the air. The facility holds crafting classes and farming activities in the surrounding fields, and, with an advance reservation, visitors can have a variety of interesting experiences here. Participants who take the hoto making class can enjoy tempura, a side, and pickles along with hoto noodles, a Koshu specialty, they've made themselves. Farming activities available include rice planting and rice reaping under the guidance of local residents.

Yamanashi Areas
Yamanashi prefecture is the proud home of one of Japan’s most celebrated icons: Mount Fuji. Although the mountain straddles both Yamanashi and Shizuoka, the most breathtaking views of Fuji-san can be seen from the Fuji Five Lakes north of the mountain in Yamanashi prefecture. The plethora of outdoor activities in and around the lakes all have the benefit of the country’s highest mountain as their backdrop, and we can assure you that it is an unforgettable sight.
