A hot spring bathhouse situated along National Route 21 off the Kawaguchiko Interchange on the Chuo Expressway in Minamitsuru District, Yamanashi Prefecture. The bathhouse' large Kuroshio bath is filled with water containing the same mineral salts as seawater, including an abundance of potassium, calcium, and other organic substances, promoting mental stability. The bathhouse' outdoor bath receives a pleasant breeze blowing off of Lake Saiko and allows bathers to take in the sounds of nature. After your bath, you can enjoy local cuisine in a 182 square meter rest lounge, such as hoto and Yoshida udon noodles.

A five-minute drive from Kawaguchiko Station. This hot spring bathhouse is located inside the Royal Hotel Kawaguchiko, a hotel which stands right in front of Oike Park and which boasts a spectacular view of Lake Kawaguchi. The bathhouse is open to non-guests as well. The bathhouse has two outdoor baths and two indoor bath areas, one each for men and women, and sets the temperatures of its baths on the lukewarm side so that bathers can enjoy long soaks in comfort. At night in the bathhouse' garden bath, customers can take in star-filled skies. The bathhouse' hot spring waters are said to treat muscle soreness and nerve pain, as well as to have powerful skin beautifying effects. The bathhouse also offers plans such as ones which include a private room for relaxation and ones which include meals.

A new hot spring village and the closest to Mt. Fuji, located on the north bank of Lake Kawaguchi, one of the Fuji Five Lakes. The four hot springs named Reimine no Yu, Tensui no Yu, Reisui no Yu, and Fuyo no Yu in 1992 have collectively come to be called the Fujikawaguchiko Onsenkyo (“Fuji Lake Kawaguchi Hot Spring Village”). The waters of these sulfate springs are said to alleviate nerve pain and sensitivity to cold. In addition to hot spring hotels, there are day trip hot spring bathhouses in the village, and visitors can enjoy touring the area’s different, distinctive baths, including baths with sweeping views of Mt. Fuji, outdoor baths which overlook Unoshima Island floating in the middle of Lake Kawaguchi, and open and airy outdoor baths replete with facilities for drinking the local health promoting hot spring waters. Other area highlights include the Oishi Tsumugi Traditional Crafts Museum, where you can try traditional Japanese crafts; and Yagizaki Park and Oishi Park, where the Kawaguchiko Herb Festival is held in early summer, making this a destination where visitors can have fun year round.

Yamanashi prefecture is the proud home of one of Japan’s most celebrated icons: Mount Fuji. Although the mountain straddles both Yamanashi and Shizuoka, the most breathtaking views of Fuji-san can be seen from the Fuji Five Lakes north of the mountain in Yamanashi prefecture. The plethora of outdoor activities in and around the lakes all have the benefit of the country’s highest mountain as their backdrop, and we can assure you that it is an unforgettable sight.
