This cafeteria is located inside of Roadside Station Narusawa about a 20-minute drive from Kawaguchiko Interchange or a 30-minute bus ride from Kawaguchiko Station. The most popular item is zendosoba, a regional dish featuring soba noodles served under a pile of finally cut locally-grown daikon radish. It also offers a number of dishes distinctive to Narusawa Village. These include Fujizakura soft-serve ice cream flavored with Fuji cherry syrup and narusawana mazegohan, a mixed rice dish featuring a local traditional green vegetable. Their Fujisan pancake sets, an item unique to the cafeteria, include a pair of pancakes depicting Mt. Fuji as well as jam and soft-serve ice cream.

Yamanashi Areas

around-area-map

Yamanashi prefecture is the proud home of one of Japan’s most celebrated icons: Mount Fuji. Although the mountain straddles both Yamanashi and Shizuoka, the most breathtaking views of Fuji-san can be seen from the Fuji Five Lakes north of the mountain in Yamanashi prefecture. The plethora of outdoor activities in and around the lakes all have the benefit of the country’s highest mountain as their backdrop, and we can assure you that it is an unforgettable sight.
