    Modeled on southern European lake resorts, the Ensoleille is your cruise boat for the popular Lake Kawaguchiko Excursion Boat, which operates from late August to mid November. It is now barrier-free, and you can bring pets aboard too. On days with good weather, not only can you see upside-down Fuji, but you can also enjoy Mt. Fuji and Lake Kawaguchi with Unoshima Island in the background-the only island on the Fuji five lakes.

    This sightseeing boat service is located about a 35-minute drive from Kawaguchiko Interchange or about a 40-minute drive from Fuji Interchange. The boat dock is located on the eastern shore of Lake Motosu a short distance south from Futatsuiwa along Prefectural Route 709. Moguran, the yellow submarine-shaped sightseeing boat, is popular with children for its adorable caricatured appearance. A fish detector is installed in front of the passenger cabin and passengers can also view underwater sights such as kokanee and rainbow trout swimming beneath the waves through the windows in bottom of the boat. Tours depart every 40 minutes, although the operating schedule changes depending on the season. Passengers can bring their pets onboard in cages as far as the boat's rear deck.
