The interior features a specialty shop with a variety of herbal products, like herb tea, bathing herbs, and dried flowers, a cafe with a menu that uses herbs, and a craft shop where you can experience herbs in a number of different ways-flower arranging, pressed flowers, and a herbarium. The central lawn is a herb garden, so you can enjoy a stroll wrapped in the wafting aroma of fresh herbs.

    Located in Oishi Park along Lake Kawaguchi's northern bank, Kawaguchiko Nature Living Center features a cafe, restaurant, a shop that sells Mt. Fuji goods, Yamanashi traditional crafts, locally-made items, and sweets. It is also a facility where you can try making jam of picking fruit. Jam-making requires a reservation in advance.

    こちらの生活感館の副題は、「ブルーベリーの里」です。ということで、お土産もブルーベリー関係のものはもちろんのこと、富士山麓の水なんかもありました。何と言ってもここの前からは富士山が綺麗に見えます。

    Opened in 1998 as a place to experience the tradition of washi (Japanese paper) making, it consists of four facilities where visitors can enjoy Minobu in four ways. The Misuki Fureai-kan is used as a rental and exhibition space. Koshiya Nakatomi is a workshop where visitors can experience traditional washi papermaking. Kamiya Nakatomi sells souvenirs. And Ajisai Ann is a restaurant where you can taste Minobu regional cuisine. You're sure to be able to spend a fulfilling time here.

    国道52号線を甲府方面に車を運転していると、左側に建物があります。一度は見学したいと思っていました。小生が、小学校に入学する頃?、我が家でも、茶、蚕(かいこ)、三椏(みつまた)の生産してました。大きな鍋を沸騰させて、大きな桶内で、水蒸気で三椏をふかして、皮をとっていました。この三椏が、和紙の原料です。和紙の事が、参考になりました。

Its craft workshop offers 10 hands-on activities including glass blowing, and pottery, as well as herbarium and soap art making. It also offers a barbeque restaurant that can be enjoyed rain or shine, as well as activities suitable for small children, making it a fun destination for families.

    山中湖のいつものコーヒー:ノアが、やってなかったので、湖畔周遊道路沿い。昔、子供たちがテニス合宿で民宿がある場所御殿場寄りのところで、ガラス細工工房兼レストランです。天井が高く、午後のコーヒーを飲む。チキンとケーキを食し、今度、山中湖に来たとき、食事したいです。店が開放的で、テラスも利用できそうです。

    A crafting studio located a 10-minute drive from the Yamanakako Interchange and a two-minute walk from the Bugakuso mae bus stop. The facility offers day crafting classes throughout the day. Courses include glasswork, pottery, and metal engraving. One great thing about the studio is that, aside from pottery, you can take home what you made that very day. All of the studio's crafts take around an hour to make, making it easy to drop by. In particular, you can make a kaleidoscope in 30 minutes, a fun activity no matter your age. Note that large groups require a reservation in advance.

    This hands-on craft workshop is located inside of Saiko Iyashi no Sato Nenba on the northwestern shore of Lake Saiko. It offers hand-built pottery experiences in which participants can form any shape they desire. The more in-depth program divides the process into two sessions. Participants make their desired shape in the first session and paint and glaze their pottery in the second. The most notable programs offered by the facility are its kneaded incense-making experiences. Participants can choose a number of options including making twice as many incense pellets or enjoying burning their fresh incense. These experiences conveniently only require 15 to 30 minutes and can be casually enjoyed. Another experience offered is making sachets, which are bags filled with raw incense materials. Three different options with different raw incense materials or the type of bag are available.

    This gallery and hands-on craft workshop is located inside of Saiko Iyashi no Sato Nenba on the northwestern shore of Lake Saiko. It exhibits a variety of hanging decorations including tsurushi-hina, a traditional Girls' Festival decoration featuring flowers, birds, and dolls, and other items made from old fabric suspended from a hoop with a red thread. Other seasonally appropriate hanging decorations are also displayed. Visitors can also try making small crape items such as cellphone straps, sachets, tsurushikazari, and other accessories. Fabrics with many different patterns are available, allowing you to make a completely one-of-a-kind item. A reservation is required for groups of ten or more people.

The studio offers 13 activities in total, including soba noodle making, bread making, wool felt crafting, ceramics, weaving, stained glass making, and glass bead making. Bread making requires an advance reservation but same-day entries are accepted if there is a space available. Under the guidance of experienced staff members, participants can make highly original and unique crafts. The facility also sells over 1,000 items handmade by its instructors, including Japanese- and Western-style crafts, accessories, cloth goods, and more.

    A farm activity center located in Sutama Town, Yamanashi Prefecture. The facility's design was modeled after the wooden Tsugane School building built in 1924, and in spite of its modern facilities a nostalgic, old-fashioned atmosphere hangs in the air. The facility holds crafting classes and farming activities in the surrounding fields, and, with an advance reservation, visitors can have a variety of interesting experiences here. Participants who take the hoto making class can enjoy tempura, a side, and pickles along with hoto noodles, a Koshu specialty, they've made themselves. Farming activities available include rice planting and rice reaping under the guidance of local residents.
