    羽二重(求肥)餅がこの地域の特産で、メインのお土産。 羽二重餅のいろんな味付け・変化を楽しめる。餅のいくつかは試食出来るので間違いない。甘さが苦手の人には辛いお菓子も揃っている。 ここを出ると滋賀県琵琶湖東南部のドライブインまで2時間ノンストップで走ることが多い。

    A confectioner located along Shichiken-dori Street in Motomachi, Ono City. This long-standing shop was founded over 100 years ago and is known for their famous Imo-Kintsuba treat. It's only sold for a limited time starting every year in September and many people come even from other prefectures in search of the sweet flavor of local Ono grown sweet potatoes.

    いもきんつばを焼いているのが外からも見えます。 何と言っても、良い香りにそそられます! 焼きたてを買えるので、店内でアツアツのうちにいただきました。 とっても美味しかったです!

    A Japanese-style confection located along Honmachi-dori Street in Honmachi 2-Chome, Katsuyama City. This long-standing shop first opened during the Meiji Period and produces the famous Kurumiyaukan jelly made with the locally grown specialty walnuts. Since they were first created in 1913 these treats have been made using the same techniques, maintaining the same flavor, for over 100 years without using any preservatives. Also popular is their walnut monaka treat.

    店内入って、何の商品も置いてないため、『今日は商品ないんですか?』とこちらから聞く始末。すると、『なにが?』と買いに来た客に対し失礼極まりない返答。それでもこちらが敬語で丁寧に『でっちようかんありますか?』と伺ったところ、『でっちようかんしかない。ほかのはない。○○商品もない』と返答。。。 やる気無いなら店辞めて欲しい。 腹が立つ!

    The shop specializing in sweets made with rice is located on the Kyoryu Kaido in Yoshino-cho, Ono City. It sells kakimochi, arare, and other rice crackers made with the unique technique of steaming glutinous rice, pounding it into rice cake, and cooking it in the original direct-fired furnace. Their Yumenosuke Dango dumplings are made exclusively with locally-grown Koshihikari rice and are roasted only after an order is received. The shop also has a cafe space where customers can enjoy eating their sweets.
