    A strawberry-picking farm located along the Sakai Hillside Fruit Line road in Yamajuraku, Awara City. They grow the very sweet Beni-Hoppe strawberry and from February to May you can enjoy strawberry picking (with reservation). The strawberries grown in the green house are grown in elevated beds allowing them to be picked without squatting.

    A tourist farm in Nakayama-cho, Echizen City. The farm grows cherries and grapes and from early to late June you can enjoy picking cherries while from early August to mid-October you can enjoy picking grapes. The farm also has an ownership system for cherry trees.

    On the east side of Tsuruga Bay there are several farms along the coast in the Higashiura region of Tsuruga City where you can enjoy orange picking from mid-October to late November. Come taste the sweet and sour flavor of the Higashiura Mikan orange grown in the Echizen coastal area, said to be the furthest northern limit for orange farming.
