    羽二重(求肥)餅がこの地域の特産で、メインのお土産。 羽二重餅のいろんな味付け・変化を楽しめる。餅のいくつかは試食出来るので間違いない。甘さが苦手の人には辛いお菓子も揃っている。 ここを出ると滋賀県琵琶湖東南部のドライブインまで2時間ノンストップで走ることが多い。

    A confectioner located along Shichiken-dori Street in Motomachi, Ono City. This long-standing shop was founded over 100 years ago and is known for their famous Imo-Kintsuba treat. It's only sold for a limited time starting every year in September and many people come even from other prefectures in search of the sweet flavor of local Ono grown sweet potatoes.

Here customers can enjoy course meals consisting of Japanese cuisine and traditional shojin ryori Japanese Buddhist vegetarian cuisine, and also add a la carte dishes such as kaisen nabe seafood hotpot, crab legs, and sauteed nozawana leaves. One of the restaurant's biggest draws is its use of very fresh ingredients, from edible wild plants to seafood from the Sea of Japan. The gift shop area carries not just local specialty products from Fukui Prefecture and the Hokuriku region but also renowned confections bearing the Eihei-ji Temple name. The Eihej-ji chestnut kintsuba flour dough sweet bean cakes can only be purchased here. The shop also offers a home delivery service."

    Specializing in “kama-meshi” (rice, meat and vegetable dish served in a small pot) that uses in-season ingredients from Hokuriku, Kamakura uses 100% grown-in-Fukui koshihikari rice, fresh seafood acquired from markets like local Echizen Town, and Fukui brand beef called “wakasa beef,” showing off expert skill by wondrously grilling up specialty stock just like the stock made at its founding. The lunch menu includes an Echizen oroshi soba set, and a tonkatsu and tempura set too.

    家族団らんの食事で利用しました。主要道路(国道8号線)より少し路地に入ったところに有りますが一度行けば忘れない、独特の雰囲気を持つお店です。 静かな環境で食事が出来ます。 メニューも豊富で迷ってしまいそうですよ! どの釜飯も美味しくセット(定食)としても満足できます。 自分はへしこ釜飯を食しました。 美味しかった!! また、家族で利用したいです。

    昔からあるソフトクリーム屋さん 平泉寺に来たら絶対食べたほうがいいです。 いろいろな種類がありますが おすすめはプリンも手作りのプリンソフトです。

There is a place where you can eat in—it’s nice to be able to eat the bread you’ve bought straight away. The cream bun generously filled with home-made custard is recommended.

    七間通りにある地元人気のパン屋さんです。イートインスペースもあります。食べ歩きクーポンでクリームパンをいただきました。

    京王百貨店新宿店7階で開催中された『福井県 越前・若狭の物産と観光展u202c』にて購入した「えがわ」の『水羊かん』は、凛と冷えたはかない口当たりと黒糖の風味は夏にはもってこいだが、冬の室内で炬燵の中で味わうのもまた一興でした。サイズも二種あって買い求めやすく、皆複数個買って帰っていました。

Their famous Matsu-no-Tsuyu treat, which has been served to the royal family, is made with egg whites, sugar, and ground coffee and resembles the Shoro species of mushroom. They make and sell the famous Baigetsu Senbei treat known throughout the prefecture for its catchy Tsuntsun Tsukio Baigetsu Senbei commercial jingle. The name draws from the famous scholar Sugawara-no-Michizane and blends the two different sweetness flavors of raw sugar and refined white sugar.

    街中散策中にたまたま見かけて立寄ってみました。地元の和菓子店でその中でも個別包装で土産物にも便利な「梅月煎餅」を購入してみました。レトロ建築風の店構えで街並みに溶け込んでいました。

They're famous for their Sake-Manjuu treat whose recipe came from a boatman on the Kitamaebune shipping route which crossed the Sea of Japan during the Edo and early Meiji periods. The Sake-Manjuu is still made with the same classic techniques and delivers a harmonious blend of bean paste and the taste of sake. Also popular is their Nama-Dorayaki which comes in a variety of flavors including green tea and cream cheese.

Their specialty Uguisu-mochi has over 200 years of history and is made with local mochi-rice, red beans, and soybeans as well as a special sugar that was first brought to the Mikuni Minatomachi port area via trading ships. They also sell a variety of other sweets including castella cake and sweets made with homemade red-bean paste.

This long-standing shop first opened in 1927 and is known to have been the shop to bring Anpan red-bean paste buns to Sabae. Amongst their a variety of breads their Daifuku Anpan, made by wrapping brioche dough around a daifuku rice cake, has been a beloved specialty for over 30 years ever since it was first invented by the second-generation owner.

This long-standing shop first opened during the Meiji Period and produces the famous Kurumiyaukan jelly made with the locally grown specialty walnuts. Since they were first created in 1913 these treats have been made using the same techniques, maintaining the same flavor, for over 100 years without using any preservatives. Also popular is their walnut monaka treat.

    店内入って、何の商品も置いてないため、『今日は商品ないんですか?』とこちらから聞く始末。すると、『なにが?』と買いに来た客に対し失礼極まりない返答。それでもこちらが敬語で丁寧に『でっちようかんありますか?』と伺ったところ、『でっちようかんしかない。ほかのはない。○○商品もない』と返答。。。 やる気無いなら店辞めて欲しい。 腹が立つ!

    A Japanese confectioner in Minamigawa-cho, Obama City. Their hand-made treats are made with carefully chosen local Obama ingredients including chilled Kumagawa kudzu and water from Uriwari Falls. Treats for sale include three varieties of Kudzu yokan-jelly and a dumpling with dough made from roasted rice flour wrapped around a deluxe red bean paste. It the attached tea deinking area you can enjoy a cup of matcha green tea with your sweets.

    和菓子屋さんですが喫茶スペースがあり、和菓子以外もいただけるようです。和菓子は種類が多くて選ぶのを迷ってしまいます。私がいつも購入するのは栗の入った上品な甘さの「きんつば」と栗が丸々一個入った蕎麦饅頭「八百姫千代寿」で私のお気に入りです。和菓子ばかりでなく、日持ちもする焼き洋菓子もあります。商品によって購入注文してから少々時間がかかるものもあり、茶菓子の接待(無料)をいただけることもあります。
