- This seafood restaurant with great ocean views is located near Tojinbo, a series of cliffs that are part of the Echizen-Kaga Kaigan Quasi-National Park. - A gift shop and restaurant where you can enjoy creative tofu dishes, Sachiya is situated on a small hill, offering you a wide view of nature and the mountains surrounding Eiheiji Temple while you enjoy your meal. They offer healthy meals, with morning-squeezed soy milk, freshly-made tofu, sesame tofu, and in-season vegetables. The restaurant’s tofu, sides, and stock are available for purchase at the shop.

店内は新しく、綺麗です。 豆腐づくしの5000円のコースを頂きました。 豆腐を色々な形で楽しませてくれようとする気持ちは伝わるのですが、あともうちょっとで美味しくなるだろう、残念な結果に終わっているお品も…。 お子様プレートも頼みましたが、こども向けのはずなのにドレッシングがかなり生姜が効いて、見た目も地味な色合いで少し残念。 全体的に値段と内容のバランスが取れていないと感じました。

ランチを頂きました。 味噌汁は、福井のミニ雑煮。福井の雑煮は味噌味で具が無く鰹節をかけるだけのシンプルな雑煮です。 ご飯は赤飯で美味しかったです。

- A tofu shop in Dake, Mikuni-cho, Sakai City. Their tofu is made with 100% domestic soybeans, primarily from Fukui Prefeture, and is made with a technique that doesn't produce dregs resulting in a tofu that really lets you taste the flavor of the soybeans. The first floor sells tofu and during the summer soy milk soft-serve icecream. On the second floor they have a restaurant serving tofu cuisine with seasonal organically grown vegetables.

- A restaurant in Kumagawa, Wakasa Town, Mikatakaminaka County. They serve sweets including Kudzu-mochi rice dumplings, Kudzu starch noodles, and zenzai red bean soup as well as soba and udon noodles with kudzu, all made with top quality kudzu which has been soaked in pure stream waters. They're also well known for their mackerel sushi made with domestic fresh mackerel and locally grown Koshihikari rice. Their mackerel sushi and Kudzu-mochi are also available as take-away souvenirs.

熊川宿では代表的なお店です。定番の鯖寿司ご膳はもちろん美味しかったです！ただ印象に強く残ったのは、鯖寿司でも葛そばでもなく、デザートの葛ようかんでした。弾力がありながらもしっとりとした甘さが残る味で、とても美味しかったです。思わず、自分用のお土産として買ってしまいました(笑)食事処だけでなく、お土産屋さんとしても繁盛しています。熊川宿を訪れた際に是非、立ち寄って欲しい場所です。

板場に面したカウンター席に着席。ビールで喉を潤した後は、生サバ・ガサエビ・ホタルイカ・甘エビのお造りと のどぐろの塩焼き、ガサ海老の頭は最後に唐揚げに、〆には炙り鯖寿司。梵や黒龍と共に頂く大変美味しゅうございました。
