- Ishikawa Pref. Suzushi Takojimamachi 1-2-480
- This is a Suzu-yaki exhibition and store located in Takojima Town, Suzu City, Ishikawa Prefecture. There are a large number of modern potteries’ works displayed in the facility. The simple but powerful and unique Suzu-yaki represents the style of pottery of the late Heian period when medieval Sea of Japan culture flourished. Although this style of pottery disappeared soon after this period, it was revived in 1976. They are popular as “Noto” souvenirs because the more they are used the more they develop a tasteful, worn look. A range of everyday useful pottery is available in the store such as beer cups, teacups and vases.

Ishikawa Areas
Long, thin Ishikawa prefecture runs along the Sea of Japan up into Noto Peninsula. Highlights of the seaside towns lining the west coast include Kanazawa, often described as a "Little Kyoto" thanks to its old wooden tea houses and geisha culture as well as its picturesque Japanese garden, Kenroku-en.
