    With a fish theme, the Roadside Station Noto Shokusai Ichiba is located in Noto’s biggest fishing port—Nanao Port—and it is a wharf building packed with the charms of Noto including tourism guidance and restaurants, focusing particularly on the sale of specialty items from Noto and fresh fish from the morning’s catch. Right next to the ocean, you get a wide view of the peaceful waves in Nanao Bay. Approximately 18 minutes by car via Tatsuruhama Interchange on the Noto Satoyama Kaido.

    "A roadside station located right next to the Rendaiji Interchange on the National Route 8 Bypass. The station's farmhouse restaurant, Shikisai, serves original set meals made with an abundance of local ingredients such as Hotarumai rice grown in the firefly-rich mountains of the area, as well as local Komatsu dishes like ""Komatsu Udon"" noodles, once a favorite of the great poet Matsuo Basho. The recommended ""Tomato Curry"" is a limited time dish made using Komatsu-grown tomatoes and only the water from the vegetables used in it. The station's farm-fresh shop Jinomonya sells a wide selection of fresh-picked farm produce and processed foods."

    A roadside station situated along National Route 249 in Shika Town, Hakui County, Ishikawa Prefecture. Located close to Masuhogaura Beach, famous for its sakuragai tellins, and visitors can park their car and stroll the beach. A bench installed along the beach, recognized by Guinness as the longest in the world, creates a unique view. Inside, the station's shop sells shellwork made with the pink shells of sakuragai, as well as tasty foods made with Noto beef perfect for taking home as a souvenir. The station's soft serve ice cream, made with Irish cobbler potatoes, is particularly popular. The adjoining Sea Side Villa Bokkai resort hotel can also be used as a daytrip spa facility.

    観光の帰り道でお土産を購入するために利用しました。お菓子を買ってレジに並んだら、「お土産は買わないの?」と尋ねられたので、「これがお土産です」との回答をしました。もっとなんやかんやたくさん買えってことなんでしょうが、不毛なやり取りでした。ちなみに今回購入したおみやげは能登名物と書かれた「ひっぱり餅」で、いわゆるきな粉餅でしたね。

    A roadside station built on the site of the former Wajima Station on the now discontinued Noto Railway. Located close to the city center, the station aims to be a new area gathering space and is outfitted with facilities such as a bus terminal and taxi stand. The station's brand new facility building features lacquered support pillars and the exterior is modeled after traditional Wajima architecture, with a gabled roof and latticework. The station also has a waiting area and tourist information center which includes a desk specifically for international tourists. The station's shop sells specialty products like Wajima lacquerware and seafood. A portion of the original train station platform and tracks have also been preserved to the delight of train enthusiasts.

    "A roadside station located in Kurikara, Tsubata Town. The station is adjoined by a banquet hall, training facility, and a hot spring bath facility renowned for the skin beautifying properties of its waters called Genpei no Yu. In the station's ""Juku no Ichi"" shop, you can buy local foods such as ""Kurikara Soba"" noodles, a local specialty product, as well as local liquors, crafts, and more. The station also offers simple and comfortable Japanese-style hotel rooms and various discount lodging plans which include sightseeing trips to area spots like the Kurikara Fudo-ji Temple and the Kenrokuen garden. The family plan is particularly popular and includes two meals. Women will be interested in the ""Kaga Kaiseki Take"" plan, which includes kaiseki course cuisine made with fresh ingredients from Kanazawa.     "A roadside station located on a hill in Uchinada Town with a sweeping view of the surrounding scenery extending from Mt. Hakusan to Mt. Tateyama located a 20 minute drive from the Kanazawa-higashi Interchange on the Hokuriku Expressway. Located between the Sea of Japan and Kahokugata Lagoon, the Uchinada Bridge, known as the ""Sunset Bridge,"" is located a short distance away on foot; lit up at night, the bridge is an extremely popular date spot. Uchinadacho Total Park and the Uchinada-machi Museum are also located within a 10 minute walk of the station, making it a convenient base for area sightseeing. The station has a farm fresh shop, cafe, and restaurant, and also holds music and food events on many evenings."

The station has a bakery which sells goods made with local ingredients, and all of its breads are made using hot spring water from Shiramine. This tasty tofu variety is characterized by its mild sweetness and natural soybean aroma and body. In addition to other local specialty products, the station's shop also sells a popular soy milk soft serve ice cream. The station serves as a local gathering space and events such as tofu making classes and kinako toasted soybean flour grinding using a stone mill are conducted here."

The station is also the site of a history museum (Ikko Ikki History Museum) and agricultural culture museum where visitors can learn about the Kaga Rebellion which occurred here 500 years ago as well as the lifestyle of ancient area farmers. The station's shop sells specialty products like fresh local vegetables and Torigoe-grown rice. The handmade noodles served in the station's soba restaurant are exquisite.

In addition to being a roadside station, the facility is also the site of a picturesque viewpoint, and from the observatory area, you can get a sweeping view of the Shiroyone Senmaida Rice Terraces, selected as one of the 100 most scenic rice terrace areas in Japan. The station was recently remodeled in 2013, increasing the number of cars it can accommodate in its parking area. The station's light meal corner offers a full menu of selections. Many of the items on offer here are also unique, such as soft serve ice cream, chewy taiyaki pastries made with glutinous rice, and onigiri rice balls made with rice from the Senmaida terraces.

The lobby is also directly connected to a taxi and bus terminal. On the third floor, there's an observation deck with a view of the runways and the Anon restaurant from which you can see the Tateyama and Hakusan mountain ranges.

The station's restaurant serves local seafood dishes and offers a view of gentle Nanao Bay. The station also has a dog park which is safe even for small dog breeds to play in."

At the adjoining Aqua Park Shi-On, you can enjoy swimming in a heated pool and bathing in natural hot spring waters.     A roadside station standing along the Kashima Bypass a 10 minute drive from the Uwadanayada Interchange on the Noto Satoyama Kaido Road. Many historical sites can be found within a 30 minute drive of the station, including the Shinnozuka Kofun, one of the largest ancient kofun burial mounds in Hokuriku; and the Sugitani Chanobatake Site, where the oldest onigiri rice balls in Japan were excavated. In spring, cherry trees growing on the grounds come into bloom. The station also has a dog park and playground equipment to help visitors unwind. The station has a shop (Orihime Market) which sells fresh-picked Noto vegetables and other foods as well as a food court (Orihime Dining) where you can eat local specialty dishes and other cuisine created based on the premise of local production for local consumption.

    能登に向かってなぎさドライブウェイの手前にある道の駅です。SAのように上りと下りで内容が違うようです。利用した下りの方は海に面していて日本海の景色が楽しめます。足湯も気持ちが良さそうでした。
