    A “yoshoku” Japanese-style Western cuisine restaurant established in 1957 located in Kata-machi, Kanazawa City, Ishikawa Prefecture. Grill Otsuka is said to be one of the restaurants which invented hanton rice, a local Kanazawa specialty dish. A hearty dish, hanton rice is ketchup rice wrapped in a semi-soft omelet, topped with deep fried breaded tuna and shrimp, and covered with ketchup and a homemade tartar sauce. In part thanks to its atmosphere reminiscent of the good, old days of the Showa period, Grill Otsuka is frequently featured in travel magazines.

The daily dinner specials, served from 6:00 p. m., are made with local seafood and other ingredients and include hors d’oeuvres, soups, gnocchi, pastas, grilled dishes, steaks, croquettes, and more.

    七尾市和倉にあります、何回も和倉に来ているのに知りませんでした、今回はテレビで知り来店しました妻はサーロインステーキ、私はエビフライとホタテフライどちらも旨いです、金沢でもこれだけの洋食はなかなか無いです、テレビでしていたブロッサムサラダは普通です、バスクチーズケーキこれは旨いです、また是非とも来たい店です。

    Located at the entrance to Higashi Chaya District in the Higashiyama district of Kanazawa City, Jiyuken is a long-established Yoshoku (Japanese-style Western food) restaurant that was founded in 1909. Jiyuken serves proper, old-fashioned Yoshoku using recipes (such as a special demi-glace sauce) that have been handed down through the generations since the restaurant was first established. The rice omelet, made by frying rice and meat seasoned a soy-sauce-based sauce and then wrapping it inside a fried egg, has consistently been the most popular item on the menu. The lunchtime set meal (also available at dinnertime), which includes four Jiyuken favorites—home-made hamburgers, sautéed pork, potato croquettes, and fried shrimp in béchamel sauce—is also very popular.

    A long-standing bistro situated on the bank of the Asano River. The restaurant's Western-style building was constructed in 1923 and is a landmark in the Higashi Chaya District. The restaurant interior still retains many touches dating back to the period when the building was built. The first floor has counter seating and tables, while the second floor is a private dining room with an old-fashioned atmosphere. Here you can enjoy authentic French cuisine made with select ingredients. The restaurant offers different, but equally delicious, lunch and dinner menus. During lunch, the restaurant serves primarily dishes like curry and hamburg steaks made with Noto beef and pork. For dinner, you can eat dishes made with seafood from Kanazawa Port.

Dedicated to local production for local consumption, the restaurant serves dishes made with an abundance of fresh local produce and delicious local seafood selected personally by the owner in the market. The restaurant's pastas made with seasonal ingredients are particularly recommended and one of the standout favorites is the ""Unibonara"" -springy al dente pasta covered with a rice sea urchin sauce. The lunch menu consists of course dishes only, while dinner is both course and a la carte dishes. For both lunch and dinner, the entire restaurant is non-smoking."
