Getting Around

The relatively new Hokuriku Shinkansen runs from Tokyo to both Toyama Station and Shin-Takaoka Station for around 12,000 yen one way. Local trains and buses branch out across the prefecture from there, with organized bus trips the best way to visit the gassho-style houses.
