The resort's Atema Onsen hot springs spa features alkaline spring waters thought to have effects including relieving nerve and muscle pain. Guests can enjoy the changing scenery of the four seasons from one of its four bathtubs. In addition to all-season activities like swimming in the resort's indoor pool or enjoying soba noodle-making lessons, guests can enjoy a number of seasonal activities. These include indoor soccer, tennis, and canoeing during the green season, and snow activities like skiing during the winter.

    Guests at this adventure park in Yuzawa Town move from tree to tree via a series of zip-lines, rope bridges, and other aerial challenges. This outdoor activity, which originated in France, utilizes the natural layout of the forest's trees. Both adults and children can enjoy a thrilling adventure in one of two types of courses. Guests at least 110 centimeters tall can enjoy a Canopy Course without having to operate their own safety equipment. In an Adventure Course, guests take a short safety course and are responsible for their own safety. Enjoy riding the facility's up to 155 meter-long, 15 meter-high zip-lines!

    ガイドの方に川の知識をたくさん教えてもらいました。緩急を繰り返しながら下っていきます。途中トロ場で水に入って泳いでみたり。渓谷のラフティングとは違い、ゆったりと川遊びを楽しめました。人によると思いますが、スリルはありません。でも楽しかったです。 写真や動画は有料(2千円)ですが、出発地点に戻る車内でカメラのモニターで全部見てから購入するか決められます。

    This large prefectural children's recreational complex located a 30-minute drive from Muikamachi Interchange has a theme of Play, Learn, Stay. It offers hands-on activity programs for children that utilize the surrounding natural environment to the fullest. The complex's main building contains hands-on learning classrooms, a play hall, lodging facilities, a restaurant, a shop, and more. Outdoor facilities include a hands-on workshop, a large playground, a tree house, campground, barbequing area, a waterfront, a canoeing area, a family ski area (winter only), and more. All in all, it is a place where parents and children alike can play to their hearts content.

At the KiraKira Restaurant and Market you can buy and eat fresh foods as well as check out the changing seasonal plants and flowers in the large KiraKira Garden.

    A rest area in the Touden Mountain Villa Annex, Niigata prefecture's only mountain hut in the Oze region. Take a break while mid-hike and enjoy the view of Mt. Hiuchigatake and Mt. Shibutsu. From the open area in front of the building on a clear day you can witness Mt. Shibutsu rising from the morning mists like a white rainbow. On rainy days you can rest inside the building to warm up. The open area looks over the Ozegahara and is filled with all sorts of people having a mid-walk lunch, checking their maps, or looking over the pictures that they've taken.

    信濃川の支流、魚野川にやなをしかけ、鮎などを出す川魚料理店。やな場は、水害から復活はしてはいるものの入場は制限され、高台の食堂だけが営業していました。鮎の塩焼き、ウナギ… 川魚では絶品の2品をおいしくいただきました。お店の周りは緑に囲まれ、時たますぐ裏を飯山線のディーゼルカーーが走ります。ただ、畳敷き大広間だけ、というのは、静かに楽しみたいという向きには… 。

    管理棟前には大きな駐車場があります。管理棟は施設見学でき、気象情報やマリン情報を提供しています。２・３階には屋上見学スペースがあり、施設一望や佐渡島も見れるそうですが、行った日は雨だったので次回は是非。夏場はなかり活気がありそうです。
