    Kanagawa Yokosuka-shi Inaokacho 82-19
This battleship became a flagship of the Combined Fleet in December 1902. It was restored by the Mikasa Preservation Society in 1958 through domestic and international donations and government grants and was opened to the public for viewing. They have both 30 and 60-minute viewing plans available, as well as a plan for groups of 10 or more. Onboard you can learn about the history of the Mikasa and the warfare through a variety of displays that include items like a 36 radiotelegraph, 15-centimeter secondary battery operation room, and documents written in the hand of staff officer Akiyama Saneyuki. You can reach it by taking the Mikasa Junkan Bus from Keiyu Yokosuka-Chuo Station to the Mikasa Koen Stop.

Lots of interesting information and can pretty much access most of the ship. At only ¥600 (£~4) for adults its definitely worth it. Theres also a nice park located to the side.

"This municipal history park, located a 15-minute walk from Keikyu Yokosuka-chuo Station, faces Yokosuka New Port and was designed based on the theme of ""water, light, and sound."" One of Yokosuka's top parks, it was selected for inclusion in the 100 Best Historical Parks in Japan list and the Japan's 100 Best City Parks list. Visitors can enjoy such park facilities as a water fountain which shoots jets of water in time with music, a wall fountain, and 18-meter-tall monument, and a murmuring river running through the grounds. The Mikasa, a battleship used during the Russo-Japanese War, is preserved as a memorial at the wharf in the park, and visitors can view historical artefacts from the time it was in service inside the vessel."

Great place to run and play on a sunny day. Beautiful park, explore the ship, burn off energy, enjoy the waterfront.

You can reach this park in approximately 35 minutes by taking a bus bound for Kannonzaki from Yokosuka Station on the JR Yokosuka Line. It covers almost all the Kannonzaki Cape that protrudes into Tokyo Bay. Once you arrive, stop by the Park Center to get information on events and attractions. There are facilities for learning while getting close to nature, such as the third Kannonzaki Lighthouse and the greenery enshrouded Yokosuka Art Museum. A wooded playscape, flower garden, and large open area make it fun for everyone from kids to adults. There is also a restaurant where you can enjoy a meal while taking in the view of Tokyo Bay.

Went for a beautiful walk through here. There are many paths to choose from. Some are sling the water, and some lead up into the woods. Great trail up to the lighthouse.
