    A chopstick specialty shop located between Komachi-dori Avenue and Wakamiya Oji, which extends from Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine. The shop carries over 1,000 varieties of chopsticks and chopstick rests crafted according to traditional craft styles found throughout Japan, including Kamakura-bori carving. Waraku also stocks an abundance of items relating to chopsticks such as chopstick boxes. Based on the belief that chopsticks can be a bridge to the soul and that they tie lives together, Waraku seeks to share the Japanese culture of chopsticks.

The Kamakurabori lacquerware at Hakkodo is made with passed down classic techniques and designs with subtle hints of the Heisei Period. An assortment of durable, strong, easy to use, beautiful pieces which improve with age, are on display. Lacquered wood carvings pushing the limits of possibility are also available.

    北鎌倉の駅で降りこのお店でランチをしてから、お寺や散歩を楽しんできました。観光地値段(鎌倉野菜膳1400円)とは思いますが、季節野菜の天婦羅も美味しくそれなりに楽しめました。1Fの陶器のショップも楽しめます。

    こちらにはいろんなお店が入っていますが、つい店頭で見かけたじゃこ入りの卵焼きが気になって。 元気な奥さんにお声かけされて食券を購入し、いただきました。 ちょっと甘めで冷たいけど美味しいです。

Kanagawa prefecture acts as an extension of the Tokyo metropolis that spills over into coastal towns, most notably Yokohama city, heavily populated and known for its Chinatown and seaside attractions. Just the right distance for a day trip out of Tokyo, Kanagawa is home to some of Tokyo’s most accessible beaches, including around Kamakura, best known for its Big Buddha. Visitors can also travel a little farther afield for a weekend at Hakone onsen town.
