A 20 minute walk or a 10 minute bus ride from Enoshima Electric Railway Yuigahama Station. The café serves home-style dishes made with fresh, locally-grown vegetables. The café is open to non-guests as well and is a popular place for locals to stop by and relax in.

Located close to the East Exit of Kamakura Station, this shop, a part of the Toshimaya chain famous for the hato sablé cookie, focuses mainly on breads. There is a souvenir shop and bakery on the first floor. The second floor has an eat-in space where bakery items purchased on the first floor can be enjoyed. Parlor Tobira, a café offering beverages and light meals made with the shop’s baked goods, is situated on the third floor. Overlooking the roundabout in front of Kamakura Station, the shop is also a great place to meet up with people.

Kanagawa Areas

Kanagawa prefecture acts as an extension of the Tokyo metropolis that spills over into coastal towns, most notably Yokohama city, heavily populated and known for its Chinatown and seaside attractions. Just the right distance for a day trip out of Tokyo, Kanagawa is home to some of Tokyo’s most accessible beaches, including around Kamakura, best known for its Big Buddha. Visitors can also travel a little farther afield for a weekend at Hakone onsen town.
