    A museum in Kawasaki City, Kanagawa Prefecture which exhibits drawings by the manga artist Fujiko F Fujio, as well as related materials. Standing displays of color drawings from the museum’s collection of approximately 50 thousand are changed on a regular basis and include examples from popular series such as Doraemon, Perman, and Kiteretsu Daihyakka. Special exhibits are also held regularly which give visitors the chance to view rare drawings and other materials never allowed to leave the museum. The museum also has many other points of note, including a recreation of the artist’s work desk, an area where visitors can read the actual manga, and a popular gift shop.

    This temple is in Daishi-machi, Kawasaki Ward, Kawasaki City. Founded in 1128, its official name is Shingonshu Chisanha Kongosan Kinjoin Heikenji. It's also known as Yakuyoke Daishi for wiping away bad luck. They also hold various events with roots in the area. Many visitors come here for their first temple visit of the year when lots of stalls open on the grounds and the approach to the temple.

    Located in Tama Ward, Kawasaki City, this museum mainly displays the work of Taro Okamoto that he donated to the municipality. It hosts a permanent exhibition room that surveys the development of his work, including art, writing, and tactile pieces, as well as a temporary exhibition room that introduces new artists. There is also a 30-meter-high Mother Tower that's a symbol of the facility. The nearest station is Mukogaoka-Yuen Station on the Odakyu Odawara Line.

    小学生の子供とプラネタリウム目的で訪問。 プラネタリウムは説明をしてくれて今時のヒーリング目的のところとは違い勉強になる。 ちょうど火星が近づく頃で火星の説明もあり。ネットの事前予約ができず科学館に直接並んでチケット購入するのが時代に反している。 ただ、他の展示のみどころが少なすぎてまったく時間を潰せない。手に触る展示は中止されています。

    This Shinto shrine is about a one-minute walk from Kawasaki-Daishi Station. One of the sanctuaries on the grounds of Wakamiya Hachimangu Shrine, it's known locally as Kanamara-sama. It honors the deities Kanayama-hiko and Kanayama-bime, who legend says cared for the goddess Izanami-no-Mikoto whose lower body was badly burned when she gave birth to a fire deity. As such, worshiping here is believed to ease childbirth and help heal afflictions of the lower body. Shrine festivals include the Suicho-no-Matsuri which recreates a historic drinking contest, the Fuigo Festival to pray for prosperity among blacksmiths and hardware merchants, and the annual Kanamara Festival, where patrons carry portable shrines in the shape of giant phalluses.

With the latest stage acoustic equipment installation and multi-media capabilities, they host an array of live performances ranging from fashion shows to plays.

    チネチッタの隣にあります。 音楽イベントで利用しました。クラブですが、場所が川崎だからか怖い感じはなく、また距離も近いので楽しめる会場でした。

    This water diversion facility is located in 1-Chome, Kuji, Takatsu Ward, Kawasaki City. Nikkaryo irrigation water sourced from Tama River is supplied to four canals: Kuji canal, Rokkason canal, Kawasaki canal, and Nekata canal. When it was constructed in 1941, it earned praise for the technique which used the circumference ratio of the pipe to accurately distribute water, such that similar techniques were adopted for new facilities built all over the country. It is a Nationally Designated Tangible Cultural Property.

    "Founded in 1641, Futago-jinja Shrine was the village shrine of the former Futago Village, where it was known as Shinmei-sha. This monument on the precincts is a white piece of modern art that looks like a fantastic floating swan. Called ""Pride,"" the literary monument is dedicated to Kanoko Okamoto. It was erected in 1962 by admirers from Kawasaki and around Japan."

    An open-air museum featuring old kominka houses. It features 25 Cultural Properties that have been transferred to the location and rebuilt, including private homes from the Edo period. They run eight indigo vats, passing down Kawasaki City's indigo dying traditions, and offer easy access to traditional indigo dyeing workshops. There are three workshops available: Handkerchief dyeing, dyeing your own item, and dyeing for groups. Reservations are required for the latter two workshops. They aren't absolutely required for handkerchief dyeing, but it's not a bad idea; if they fill up with group reservations you might be out of luck.

    武蔵小杉駅からバスで10分程度のところにあります。周りは自然豊かな環境で、美術館では企画展示が２種類行われていました。川崎規模のまちだとこのくらい大きくしっかりした美術館なんだと感動しました。1Fには自動販売機が設置された休憩コーナーもあり、そこで一息つくこともできますし、中庭のようなところもありました。

Kanagawa prefecture acts as an extension of the Tokyo metropolis that spills over into coastal towns, most notably Yokohama city, heavily populated and known for its Chinatown and seaside attractions. Just the right distance for a day trip out of Tokyo, Kanagawa is home to some of Tokyo’s most accessible beaches, including around Kamakura, best known for its Big Buddha. Visitors can also travel a little farther afield for a weekend at Hakone onsen town.
