    LaLaport Yokohama is one of the largest commercial facilities in Kanagawa Prefecture, and has a range of shops from large food stores to TOHO cinemas. It is very crowded on weekends and holidays so public transport is convenient. It is 10 minutes’ walk from JR Kamoi Station. A shuttle bus service is available.

    A good mall with many different brands and shops and food choices. There is everything you need here. There is also free parking which is awesome! Recommended!

The mall holds a variety of events rooted in the local community, including baby art classes, and a baby's birthday festival."

    映画館からゲームセンター、スーパーなどなんでも入っているショッピングモールです。定期的にテナントも入れ替えているのか、開業から時間がそれなりに経っているにも関わらず飽きさせません。

    This Swedish furniture store is located right next to the Shinkaibashi bus stop a 20-minute ride on the Yokohama Municipal Bus. Inside the massive store, you can purchase some 9,500 originally designed pieces of furniture and home decorations. This particular location has concluded a cooperation agreement with Yokohama City and is engaged in a variety of initiatives, including energy conservation, local production for local consumption, and child and youth cultivation projects. As part of these initiatives, the store sells vegetables straight from farms in Tsuzuki Ward, and also operates a mobile hydrogen station.

    This shopping center is in central Nakagawa, Tsuzuki Ward, Yokohama City. Lots of people visit this family oriented suburban commercial center with its fashion shops, general stores, food shops, and amusement facilities. On the rooftop there is a Ferris wheel, which is the mall's symbol, and it's crowded with families and couples on their days off. The nearest station is Yokohama City Subway's Center-Kita Station.

    Surrounded by a citizens' forest and parks, this shopping mall is situated along Loop Road No. 2 and is also right in front of the Tressa Yokohama bus stop. The mall is split into north and south buildings divided by a road. Occupied by 220 establishments, the mall also has a 2,700-space parking lot which is free to use every day of the week. The mall sports an atmosphere reminiscent of France's Lyon, one of Yokohama's sister cities. Visitors can shop in the central Auto Mall area and in a variety of stores, and also enjoy a meal in the mall's food court. In addition, the mall holds a variety of events.

The cafes, featuring outdoor terrace seating overlooking Yokohama Port, are particularly popular. There’s also a SeaBus boarding area, and you can hope on one to enjoy the sights of Minato Mirai from on the ocean waters as well.

Their popular kiln-baked French pancakes are made using a batter with ricotta cheese that has been mixed with milk and eggs until thoroughly liquefied.     "This Japanese confectionary shop is located a two-minute walk from Keikyu Tsurumi Station. The shop is famous for its Yone Manju buns, which are even mentioned in the song, ""Oedo Nihonbashi."" The Yone Manju, selected for inclusion in the 100 Famous Products of Kanagawa list, are a renowned confection which were originally sold in front of Kinryuji Temple in Tokyo's Asakusa. Consisting of a thin skin of Habutae mochi rice cake stuffed with fillings, they went out of production for a time but were brought back with some modern twists to commemorate the 30th anniversary of a confectionary association after the end of World War II. They are sold with three fillings - red bean paste, white bean paste, and plum paste; they go great with matcha green tea as well."

Kanagawa prefecture acts as an extension of the Tokyo metropolis that spills over into coastal towns, most notably Yokohama city, heavily populated and known for its Chinatown and seaside attractions. Just the right distance for a day trip out of Tokyo, Kanagawa is home to some of Tokyo’s most accessible beaches, including around Kamakura, best known for its Big Buddha. Visitors can also travel a little farther afield for a weekend at Hakone onsen town.
