    Monkey-Magic Teahouse has stocked about 100 varieties of new and seasonal Chinese teas since its opening in 2001, with a shop selling Chinese tea leaves and tea goods on the first floor, and a tearoom on the second floor. The shop itself has an oddly familiar, comfortable “Shanghai Retro” atmosphere that’s a perfect refresher after a long, tiring walk along Chinatown’s streets. It’s located seven minutes’ walk from Minatomirai Line Motomachi-Chukagai Station Exit 2.

    予約をして午前中からゆったりスイーツ。 瑞々しい果物がたくさんのったプリンアラモードを堪能しました。 値段は少々お高めですが美味しかったので満足。 今や列車のデザイナーで有名な水戸岡さんの監修の店舗にも興味ありましたが、期待を裏切らない素敵な空間でした。 次回は、地方から来る友人を連れて行ってあげたいと思ってます。

    A café located along Osanbashi-dori. Visitors can bring in small breed dogs with them. The café’s lunch menu changes daily. Over teatime, HAMA CAFE’s “design cappuccinos,” a delight for the eyes and the taste buds, are recommended. The café’s French toast, made with bagels, is also popular. The café is also available for rent for parties and live concerts, etc.

    ここは美味しいし、感じ良いお店で好きでしたが…犬は入店出来なくなりました〜〜とっても残念です！ コインパークや大桟橋の駐車場からも近くて便利、犬の散歩にも最適でした。 店内で美味しいケーキやランチが頂けて、割とお安いし、注文後それ程待たなくて、良いお店。近所で閉店するお店が多い中、頑張ってもらいたいです。

    An American diner with a hideout atmosphere located along Jobancho Street in Yokohama City, Kanagawa Prefecture. It is within walking distance from JR Sakuragi-cho and Kannai Stations, and from Bashamichi Station on the Minatomirai Line.

    Went for drinks while walking in the park and towards chinatown. My wife had a very nice sangria, while i stuck with my usual Japanese draft beer, nice and cold!

    店内が大正風？？というかちょっと凝った内装でした。メイドカフェみたいな恰好のウエイトレスさんもちょっとびっくりしました。マスカットのケーキがお目当てでしたが、入店後確認したらすでに売り切れとのこと。パスタだけ食べてきました。普通においしいです。ただお値段は内装やメイドさん込みですね。。

Kanagawa prefecture acts as an extension of the Tokyo metropolis that spills over into coastal towns, most notably Yokohama city, heavily populated and known for its Chinatown and seaside attractions. Just the right distance for a day trip out of Tokyo, Kanagawa is home to some of Tokyo’s most accessible beaches, including around Kamakura, best known for its Big Buddha.
