Kanagawa Pref. Ashigarashimogunhakonemachi Yumoto Hydrangea bridge
This is a 20 to 60-minute rickshaw tour around Hakone-Yumoto’s historic hot spring district, pulled around by a muscular driver. The driver takes passengers to the famous local spots including Tamadare Falls and Yuba, with its small roads and old-fashioned atmosphere along the Hayakawa River. In addition to the regular places, they also visit the best of Yumoto’s hidden gems and seasonal spots. Tours depart from Ajisai-bashi Bridge, around a two-minute walk from Hakone-Yumoto Station. Guests can take a commemorative photo with rickshaw for free.

    紫陽花橋の上で客待ちをしています。人力車に乗って箱根湯本の街を散策というのも良いです。橋から川を眺めるだけでも。

Kanagawa Areas

around-area-map

Kanagawa prefecture acts as an extension of the Tokyo metropolis that spills over into coastal towns, most notably Yokohama city, heavily populated and known for its Chinatown and seaside attractions. Just the right distance for a day trip out of Tokyo, Kanagawa is home to some of Tokyo’s most accessible beaches, including around Kamakura, best known for its Big Buddha. Visitors can also travel a little farther afield for a weekend at Hakone onsen town.
