The library complex is adjoined by the Yokosuka City Educational Research Institute and is situated near the Kurihama Administration Center and Kurihama Community Center, and it plays a significant role in the community as a cultural facility occupying a section of an educational district. The library's reading room is also spacious and a place where visitors can read in comfort. The library also holds various events such as storytelling sessions for children and movie club meets.

    A library that got its start in 1928 with a donation from Suzuki Saburosuke. It has space for 160,000 books. Besides regular lending, there is also a training room and hall. Horiguchi Daigaku was a poet and French literature scholar who made great contributions to the modern Japanese literature. A book room dedicated to him opened on the second floor in 2006.

It's housed in two rooms on the first floor of the Dainibunkan building of Shiroyama Town Hall, which was formerly Misaki Junior High School. It has a room with 30,000 books that can be borrowed as well as a study room for reading. The total floor area is 210 square meters, nearly 1.5 times larger than before the relocation. Reading seats have increased from 10 to 40.

    One of the four peanut digging tourism associations run by the Hadano City Agricultural Cooperative. Their peanut digging workshops let you get your hands in the soil and enjoy the flavors of fall in Hadano. It's capable of firing not only Oribe, Kiseto, and Shino pottery, but also celadon, underglaze iron decoration, ceramics painting, and porcelain decorated with colored pictures. In addition to trial ceramics classes, classes where you learn the basics, and classes designed to suit participants' needs, they also have five hands-on pottery workshops. All of workshops and classes require reservations.

    みなとみらい線の日本大通り駅から徒歩7〜8分です。初めてバレエの公演を見に行きました。大ホールは、バレエの殿堂という風にチラシには書かれていました。確かにオーケストラピットもあり、その通りの作りでした。ただ、古いため、一般客用のエスカレーターやエレベーターがなく、階段で3階まで上がったのは、なんとかならないのかと感じました。

Kanagawa prefecture acts as an extension of the Tokyo metropolis that spills over into coastal towns, most notably Yokohama city, heavily populated and known for its Chinatown and seaside attractions. Just the right distance for a day trip out of Tokyo, Kanagawa is home to some of Tokyo’s most accessible beaches, including around Kamakura, best known for its Big Buddha. Visitors can also travel a little farther afield for a weekend at Hakone onsen town.
