A sandwich shop located along Daikanzaka. BUYMESTAND has twenty seats, including counter seating and comfy sofa seats. Inside the shop is a 405FACTORY store space. Of course, BUYMESTAND also offers an abundant variety of sandwiches. The Blue Monday sandwich includes beef, onions, sliced oranges, and blue cheese. Many of BUYMESTAND’s other sandwiches are filled with apples and other distinctive ingredients. BUYMESTAND strives to ensure that its sandwiches taste delicious even to people not used to fruit in their meals. BUYMESTAND is open in the morning.

A bakery and café located in Motomachi, Yokohama. The shop’s concept is the use of ingredients that are kind to both body and the planet to create delicious items. ecomo uses domestic organic wheat and pesticide-free fruits and vegetables. The shop also serves world-renowned Daterra Coffee. Of course the ingredients used in ecomo’s cold pressed juices are also organic. Lastly, ecomo offers an abundance variety of seasonal breads and sweets such as miniature tarts made with seasonal ingredients.

元町通の海側出口近くのショッピングセンター元町プラザの2階にあるイートインできるパン屋さんです。食パンからアンパンまで皆おいしいです。作る量が少ないみたいで昼過ぎにはほぼ売り切れます。昼前に行くことをおすすめします。

Jean Francois is a bakery with a café inside, and it usually has 60 kinds of bread on hand, all produced by MOF (Meilleur Ouvrier de France) award-winning chef Jean-François Lemercier. He uses carefully selected ingredients, including wheat grown in France and natural salt, and aims to preserve the natural flavors of these ingredients. Baked according to unique methods, his bread is crisp and fragrant on the outside but has a notably soft and springy texture on the inside. He also sells Western-style confections and bread rolls to be served on the side.

A café produced by flower designer Yuko Safu. Inside, the café’s display case is filled with muffins, pies, and scones. The original recipes were created with care and love by Yuko Safu for her family and are made without additives. During lunch, patrons can enjoy a quiche and sandwich set. The café interior is decorated with brilliant flowers and beautiful green plant life, creating a relaxing atmosphere.

What a great place: has homemade breads and pastries, with a limited food menu. The best scones Ive run across in Japan (great brownies - and where can you find proper oatmeal cookies in Japan...

A pound cake specialty shop located right next to the Exit 3 of Motomachi-Chukagai Station. Named after Pavlov’s dog, the shop aims to serve cakes so good that after just one bite, you’ll always water at the mouth whenever you hear the name. The interior is modeled after a Paris sweetshop and will make you feel like a celebrity. Pavlov’s pound cake is made with select ingredients and is characterized by its moist texture. Each cake is given a name which evokes the symbolism of flower language and Pavlov’s cakes make popular gifts. You can enjoy a fresh-baked slice of cake and a beverage in the adjoining café space.

It’s immensely convenient, as it is directly accessible straight from Yokohama Station’s West exit and Diamond underground shopping area. It may seem hard to get to because of its location in a luxury hotel, but since it’s directly accessible from the station it’s an easy stop off for many. The price is also reasonable for hotel-made bread. The shop is stroller-friendly and it’s a great place for people looking for a light meal in addition to something to take home.

Kouroan uses healthy ingredients and keeps the authentic taste of Japanese sweets while adding the flavour of Yokohama’s Motomachi, and its flagship product is a raw sugar dorayaki (a Japanese pancake). All of the seasonal dorayaki and fresh sweets are also superb. A visit to the second floor where there is a tea house is also recommended. It is three minutes’ walk from Exit 5 at Motomachi-Chukagai Station on the Tokyu Minatomirai Line.

Sakura keeps over 20 kinds of pesticide free or low pesticide teas bought directly from contract farmers all over Japan, all offered in a simple, modern shop. The traditional Japanese sweets on offer with the teas are also popular, with the biggest hits being the richly flavored gelatins made with select matcha, and the Matcha Parfait, with matcha flavored gyuhi-style rice cake. Their tofu lunch plates are also delicious. It’s located four minutes’ walk from Minatomirai Line Motomachi-Chukagai Station Exit 5.

訪れてみたかった茶倉にやっと行けました。和パフェ、とっても美味しかったです。お茶の美味しい入れ方も教えていただき、お茶と食べるパフェ、最高でした。お店の雰囲気も良く、のんびりできました。他の味も食べてみたい！リピートしたいと思います。

Kanagawa prefecture acts as an extension of the Tokyo metropolis that spills over into coastal towns, most notably Yokohama city, heavily populated and known for its Chinatown and seaside attractions.
