There’s also a movie theater and even an amusement park, ensuring you can enjoy a whole day here. You can get taste of Hawaii in the Hawaiian Town area on the first floor, where you’ll find a variety of Hawaiian goods and popular Hawaiian souvenirs as well as Hawaiian food.

    LaLaport Yokohama is one of the largest commercial facilities in Kanagawa Prefecture, and has a range of shops from large food stores to TOHO cinemas. It is very crowded on weekends and holidays so public transport is convenient. It is 10 minutes’ walk from JR Kamoi Station. A shuttle bus service is available.

    A good mall with many different brands and shops and food choices. There is everything you need here. There is also free parking which is awesome! Recommended!

    A historical structure built as a government-bonded warehouse during the Meiji and Taisho periods, and nowadays it has become a multipurpose-type facility which holds cafes and restaurants. From the open plaza facing the sea you can look out over Yokohama Port and the scenery of Minato Mirai, while the buildings are illuminated in orange in the evening and from midday, a different fantastic atmosphere is created. A great number of events are held to match the season.

    This is a commercial facility attached to Yokohama Minato Mirai Station. There are multiple shopping areas, a concert hall, art gallery, and a hotel. There are also regular events held at the Queen’s Circle, an event space in the center of Queen Mall.

    We were really impressed with this shopping mall. Being from Tokyo, we found the mall to be extremely spacious. There are also tons of good stores and restaurants throughout. Definitely worth a visit!

    A shopping mall located a five-minute walk from JR Kawasaki Station in Kawasaki City, Kanagawa Prefecture. The concept behind the mall is a place which delivers cutting-edge culture with a focus on movies and music, and which engenders romantic spaces where you can enjoy the everyday in an Italian-style atmosphere. The mall is host to a wide variety of tenants, including the CINECITTA' movie theater, the CLUB CITTA' large-scale concert hall, numerous restaurants serving Italian cuisine, cafes, accessory shops, vintage boutiques, and a futsal court.

    Great food, we went to an Indian here and the service and food was really good, would go back and its withing easy distance of the trains.

    In the center of this tower building which is a symbol of the Minato Mirai 21 district in Yokohama is a multi-purpose facility which houses offices, a hotel and a shopping mall. The tower also has such facilities as an observatory, a multi-purpose hall and a merchant ship stone dock that has been reconstructed into a plaza. In particular, the highlight is the scenery from the “Sky Garden” observatory located on the 69th floor of the tower at a height of 273 meters. During the day, you can look out into the distance over the Minato Mirai district and in the evening, the whole surface of the sparkling night view extends into the distance.

It was used as a shopping district for the region starting before World War II, and currently features about 130 shops lined up, in particular food product shops and restaurants. Spring features the “Utamaru Sakura Festival”, which was named for Odori Park’s “Utamaru Sakura” bearing the name of Katsura Utamaru, a rakugo storyteller who served as an honorary consultant of the shopping district and hailed from the same district.

    This shopping mall is located inside Yokohama Landmark Tower a one-minute drive from the Minatomirai entrance, a three-minute walk from Minatomirai Station, and just south of the Bijutsuno Hiroba bus stop. An atrium extends from floors one through five, and the large, 200-meter-long mall is occupied by Japanese, Western, and Chinese restaurants and cafes; fashionable apparel shops; jewelry stores; a convenience store; and even a pharmacy. The atrium area is also used for mini concerts and promotional events. Here you can enjoy the unique atmosphere of Yokohama.

    The shopping area here is not anything you will not ever have seen before. But it is inviting and sometimes has special events, like a big gundam hanging in the center of the open area.

The cafés and restaurants in particular generally offer reasonably priced yet carefully prepared lunch options. In summer, a beer garden is operated on the rooftop where you can enjoy Japanese-style barbecue and hula dance shows.

Kanagawa prefecture acts as an extension of the Tokyo metropolis that spills over into coastal towns, most notably Yokohama city, heavily populated and known for its Chinatown and seaside attractions. Just the right distance for a day trip out of Tokyo, Kanagawa is home to some of Tokyo’s most accessible beaches, including around Kamakura, best known for its Big Buddha. Visitors can also travel a little farther afield for a weekend at Hakone onsen town.
