    This is a day trip hot spring facility that is a short walk from Motomachi Port, Oshima, Tokyo, with a landmark large red roof. Inside the building there is a bathroom where one can enjoy a jacuzzi, water cascade and sauna and a hot spring pool for swimsuit wear, which is always crowded with locals and tourists who want to shrug off the fatigue of a boat ride. The facility is equipped with a comfortable tatami rest room and food corner. Limited to days when the overnight boat arrives, it is open early morning from 6:30 am.

    This public hot spring outdoor bath is located on Izu-Oshima Island, approximately 25 kilometers southeast of the Izu Peninsula. The hot spring is in Naganehama Park, a scenic spot with a view of the Izu Peninsula and Mt. Fuji, and a three-minute walk from Motomachi Port. The spacious outdoor bath has gained a reputation as a hot spring that can be enjoyed by the whole family because it is a mixed-gender bath. The surrounding area is also famous as a spot to see the sunset dying the sky and the sea madder red, and many tourists visit just before sunset. There is no indoor bath and you need to wear a bathing suit (free rentals available).

    混んでいるギリギリになってまで空いていた宿なので、ある程度覚悟はしていましたが。扉に鍵がないので荷物を置いていけません。ご飯18時半までとの事だが、17時頃から食べて欲しいと言ってました。落ち着かないので急いで食べる感じ。入り口は廃墟を思わせる感じで、部屋はとてもカビ臭いです、掃除はしてあってきれいですが…驚くほど古いです。
