    "This Japanese black beef restaurant has appeared in various media outlets as the store with the longest lines in Kichijoji. The shop is located facing the street, almost at the center of the town's famous Sun Road shopping district, and offers high-quality, domestically produced black wagyu beef. In addition to selling by weight for things like sukiyaki, shabu-shabu and rib roasts, they are also known for their freshly fried ""original minced cutlets."" From the moment you bite into it, this dish is bursting with piping hot, juicy meat and a crispy-crunchy texture, and since it's cooked through to the center on low heat, waiting five minutes or so before digging in is a must.     A Japanese confectionary shop located in the Daiya-gai shopping arcade which extends away from the north exit of Kichijoji Station. Osaza only sells two things: yokan bean jelly and monaka wafer cakes with bean jam. Even so, these two products are so popular there's a constant line of customers outside waiting to purchase them. The yokan, in particular, is made entirely by the hands of skilled artisans without the use of any machines, and many customers come back time and again to enjoy its delicious flavor. It's so popular, you usually can't purchase any unless you come very early in the morning, and fans refer to it as the phantom yokan. Osaza's offers two varieties of monaka filling-shiro-an white bean jam and azuki-an red bean jam, and you can buy mixed sets which include both flavors. These sets make great souvenirs and presents.
