Tokyo Bunkyou-ku Honkomagome 6

Yanagisawa Yoshiyasu, who served the shogunate as a Tairo-kaku (“Great Elder”) during the era of Tokugawa Tsunayoshi, the fifth-generation Tokugawa shogun, created this garden in an area full of daimyo residences. With its undulating paths and well-planned design, the Japanese garden is particularly famous for its azaleas and weeping sakura close to the garden entrance. The gardens are lit up at night during the spring when cherry blossoms are in bloom and again in autumn when the foliage is turning colors. The garden evokes scenery of Kishu (in Wakayama) with the middle Daisensui Pond and its Nakanoshima Island. Many foreign tourists enjoy visiting Rikugien.

A public park located close to Oji Station in Oji, Kita City, Tokyo. There are some 600 Yoshino cherries, sato-zakura cherries, and other cherry tree varieties growing on the grounds, and the park is a popular destination for enjoying cherry blossom viewing in the spring. A monorail-style lift known as the Ascargot operates in the park; visitors can ride it for free and enjoy the leisurely ride to the top of Asukayama.

"A strolling garden full of waterfalls and natural beauty located a 10-minute walk from Oji Station. Seven waterfalls known as the ""Seven Falls of Oji"" once existed in the area, but today of these only Nanushi Waterfall remains. Nanushi Waterfall is comprised of four parts - the eight-meter-tall Odaki, the Medaki, Dokkonotaki, and Yugyokunotaki. The garden's design skillfully incorporates the natural landscape, making use of slopes planted with more than 100 Japanese mountain maples, Japanese zelkovas, and beech trees. The garden is also famously known as a habitat for Heike fireflies and is the perfect place to go for a stroll and take in the changes of the season."

何度か足を運んでいますが、回遊式庭園を回っていて感じることは、男滝は日曜日には流れていることが有るが、他の滝は殆ど流れておらず残念に思いながら変えr事が多い。時間を決めてでも全ての滝の水を流すことが有ってもよいのでは。

"Located right next to the Arakawa Shako-mae stop on the Toden Arakawa Line. Two rare old streetcar models are displayed in this square modeled after an old-fashioned Toden tram stop. One is a 5500 series car, which incorporated a streamlined shape, then the latest technological advance from America at the time; nicknamed the PCC Car, inside there is a diorama depicting what the local area looked like around the late 50s to early 60s. The other is a Old 7500 series car affectionately known as the Gakuen-go (""School Bus""). Visitors can also see streetcars in operating today coming and going from the depot directly adjacent."

This full-fledged playhouse, opened in 1951, is the oldest in Tokyo dedicated to taishu engeki popular theater. The theater is situated along Jujo Chuo-dori Street connected JR Jujo Station and Higashi-Jujo Station. Performances are held virtually every day from 18:00 and two shows, one in the afternoon and one in the evening, are held on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays. Programs primarily consist of plays, mini shows, and dancing. Audience seats are located so close to the stage you can practically reach out and touch the performers, adding to the realism and atmosphere. There's also an elevated walkway which extends out into the seats, enabling actors and audience members to get even closer. Actors such as Tomio Umezawa also perform here, and the theater is loved by locals.

A Western-style mansion a 12 minute walk from Komagome Station. This stone structure was called the Kyu Furukawa-tei. It was designed by English architect Josiah Conder, who also designed the iconic Rokumeikan. The main building has two floors aboveground and one below. The first floor is decorated in Western style while every room except the bedroom on the second floor is a traditional Japanese room, and the residence skillfully blends Japanese and Western tastes. The simple and solemn exterior resembles the architecture of Scottish and English country villas. A guided tour is provided in the museum and takes approximately one hour. The garden is famed for its roses; from mid-May to mid-June and from mid-October to late November are the best times to see them. Viewing and touring the museum requires a reservation to be made by a postcard with a reply card attached.

This store itself would not look out of place in an old film. With remote control cars, dolls and toy trains, there is plenty to find here for both children and adults. There are also more premium items available to root through as well, which are always quite popular with adults looking for something interesting to buy.

高さ88.3m、17階建ての複合文化施設で、最上階には無料の展望ロビーがある。営業時間は22:00までとなっており、訪れた時はギリギリだったものの見学させて頂くことができ、とても有り難かった。新幹線が見えることで有名らしいが、夜だった為見ることは出来なかった。周りには高層ビルが殆ど無いため、遠くまで見渡すことが出来る。各階にはホールや会議室等があるそうで、便利そうである。

国立印刷局王子工場の隣にある無料の施設。お札と切手の歴史、印刷技術、世界の珍しい紙幣と切手、などの展示がある。世界最古の紙幣は中国で作られたことなど勉強になるし、正方形や縦長の紙幣、世界最大の切手など、珍しいものがいろいろ見られて結構楽しい。
