This food theme park for sweets that opened in 2003 is a spot to try sweets made by some of the finest patissier. There are shops offering an incredible variety of sweets including cakes, Asian sweets, crepes, and soufflé, and there are even shops that make their sweets after receiving the customer's order. In addition to trying and comparing tastes within the mini park, takeout offerings are also popular. In the Sweets Select Zone are shops selling ingredients and implements for making bread and sweets, a cooking studio and even a dedicated chocolate shop. The closest station is Jiyugaoka Station.

The Sweets Forest in Jiyugaoka is a bit pricey but the fun atmosphere and a big selection of sweets and cakes available at several shops and cafes make this the perfect spot for a break from...

An apple pie and sweets shop produced by Akiko Hirano located a four minute walk from Daikan-yama Station. The name Matsunosuke comes from Hirano's grandfather, who was a Noh costume artisan. Here you can enjoy healthy baked sweets and traditional treats from New England in the U.S. Particularly popular are the authentic American apple pies, made by baking fresh, uncooked apples wrapped as-is in the pie crust; and the rich, creamy New York cheesecake. The shop's fluffy pancake lunch is only served on weekdays.

Must visit if you love pancakes. After 10 am the have the best pancakes I’ve ever eaten in this tiny restaurant. Worth the trip if you are in Kyoto.

This is one of over 20 stores in Japan of the Western confectionery shop from France. This location is the main store in Japan that serves as a flagship of French food culture. They have built their reputation on offering deliciously elegant sweets and confectioneries. The shop is mainly known for their macarons that are prepared with traditional techniques from the Edo period. They use a marzipan base with meringue added to it for a thick, round appearance. Their macarons are soft on the inside and wonderfully crisp on the outside. There's a salon on the 2nd floor where guests can order drinks to pair with their macarons. In addition to cake and pastries, they feature an extensive lineup of menu items to eat as well, including croque monsieur and gratin, which makes this a perfect spot to take break when you're out exploring Jiyugaoka.

    駅の側にあります。 かわいいマカロンが並んでいたので、友人へのプレゼント用に購入しました。 商品は良いのですが、店員の態度があまり良くなかったです。ここの店舗にはもう行かないかなと思いました。

Since its opening in 1978, this western pastry shop has searched for the roots of cheesecake and passed on recipes backed by history and tradition. It also has many fans because it sells four kinds of cut cakes in both round and square shapes. Tokyo Areas

around-area-map

The setting of countless iconic movie scenes and the inspiration for songs, poetry, and literature worldwide, Tokyo barely requires an introduction. It’s hard for the kaleidoscopic neon lights, wacky pop culture, and some of the world’s tallest structures not to instill excitement in any first-time visitor to Tokyo, whether you’re in the very center of the hustle and bustle in Shinjuku or Shibuya or looking in from the quieter suburbs.
