Originally opened as a loach restaurant close to what is now Kyobashi 3 Chome, since the modern Taisho period this establishment has been beloved as the only dedicated goosefish restaurant in Tokyo. The old-fashioned and imposing restaurant building itself has been designated a Historic Building by the Tokyo government. In addition to the main dining area, the restaurant has relaxing private dining rooms where you can savor anko nabe, a flavorful hotpot steeped in tradition made with only the freshest goosefish from the Kazamaura Sea.
