    Tokyo Koto-ku Kameido 4-18-8
"A seven-minute walk from Kameido Station on the JR Chuo-Sobu Line. This tourist information center and local specialty product showroom shop was opened in 2013. The estate which once stood here was nicknamed the Kameido Umeyashiki (""Kameido Plum Estate"") in the Edo period after its beautiful plum tree was featured in numerous ukiyoe prints and it became a renowned sightseeing destination. The facility which stands here today serves as a center for sharing with visitors the culture and history of Edo, Japanese Shitamachi working class neighborhoods, and stylish Kameido. Inside, you can purchase famous Kameido products and souvenirs from across Japan, or bring some food into the adjoining cafe space to enjoy. The facility is decorated with Edo kiriko glass and ukiyoe prints and holds local citizen events, traditional rakugo comedic storytelling performances, and a variety of other entertainments for visitors to enjoy."

    Tokyo Hachijomachi Okago 2843
This facility introduces the nature of Hachijojima Island. The visitor center was constructed with the island itself as a motif. Here you can learn about the nature of the island, the origin of the island, the history, the lifestyle and living things. Because there is an approximately 22-hectare large botanical garden next door, many tourists visit both facilities. Aside from the displays, events allowing you to experience nature, such as treks across Mt. Mihara and tide pool exploring, are regularly held.

This is not in front of the station, 3-minute walk takes you to the building. It looks big, however, there...

    Tokyo Chiyoda-ku Yurakucho 1-6-4 Chiyoda Building 1F-3F
"This antenna shop sells Kagoshima Prefecture specialty goods and agricultural products, and relays tourism information. It sells food products and provides tourist information on the first floor, restaurants are on the second floor, and crafts are on display and sold on the third floor. There are a lot of sake and shochu that are unique to Kagoshima, and there are many products that can only be found here outside Kagoshima, such as items made from different ingredients including sweet potatoes, brown sugar and wheat, ones with different alcohol levels, and liqueur made from shochu. The popular menu item at the second-floor restaurant ""Yushoku Tonsai Ichinisan"" is their own black pork shabu-shabu finished with soba tsuyu soup base. Black pork shabu-shabu eaten with soba soup is an unlikely exquisite combination."

Oshinari-kun is a local character which was named from ""Oshi"" and ""Nari"" from the Oshiage and Narihirabashi areas.

Tokyo Areas

around-area-map

The setting of countless iconic movie scenes and the inspiration for songs, poetry, and literature worldwide, Tokyo barely requires an introduction. It’s hard for the kaleidoscopic neon lights, wacky pop culture, and some of the world’s tallest structures not to instill excitement in any first-time visitor to Tokyo, whether you’re in the very center of the hustle and bustle in Shinjuku or Shibuya or looking in from the quieter suburbs.
