"A day-use bathhouse which takes great pride in its natural hot spring waters drawn from 1,500 meters underground. The light brown waters come from an ancient sea dating to between two million and 130 thousand years ago and as such are what are called ""fossil water."" The sodium chloride highly saline spring contains an abundance of salt and organic compounds. Its waters have a slipper feel and are said to promote post-illness recovery and treat such ailments as nerve pain, chronic digestive diseases, and chronic women's diseases. The bathhouse is located an eight-minute walk from Itabashihoncho Station on the Toei Mita Line. "This day-trip natural hot spring provides a high-quality place that is an extension of daily life. It is a natural hot spring with water coming from 1,500 meters underground without additional water. Based on the principle of ""safe and secure,"" it is a bathhouse that prides itself with management that does not compromise on water quality management and facility management. For the indoor baths, besides natural hot springs using high-quality natural hot spring water, there are also jet baths, shape-up baths and electric baths. In addition, the outdoor rock bath is popular with people who like hot water because the temperature is set high. It is an appealing hot spring that is just a five-minute walk from Tama Center Station."

A five-minute walk from Niijima Port. This outdoor bath is located a short distance north of Torigashima Island along the road and, excluding when under maintenance, is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Note that bathers must wear a swimsuit. There are six bathing pools decorated in an ancient Greek motif, and one of the bath's biggest draws is the fact you can watch the sunset from here and take in star-filled skies at night. There's also parking nearby, make access convenient. The bath is also replete with a changing area and baggage lockers.

    Tokyo Minato-ku Minamiazabu 1-15-12
Opened in 1913, locals and lots of others are fond of this neighborhood hot spring with water as dark as coffee. The dark brown hue comes from the influence of a blend of elements like peat from ancient plants, mud from the seabed, and volcanic ash. It's thoroughly dissolved in the water and won't adhere to the body. An alkaline mineral spring, it's known for leaving bathers with smooth skin and many apply the dark water to their faces after washing. They don't provide any bathing amenities, so you need to bring items like soap and a towel. You can also buy them there too.

This day-use hot spring bathhouse completely replaces the water in its tubs daily and takes pride in its thorough facilities management, including hourly bathing area inspections and monthly third party water quality testing. These activities are carried out not only to meet legal standards but are also based on the bathhouse' belief that always providing customers with a beautiful, clean, and hygienic environment represents the utmost in service. Tokyo Ota-ku Kamata 1-26-16
"The hot spring water at this onsen is naturally dark as ink and has earned it the name Kuro-yu, or ""Black Hot Water."" About five minutes on foot from Kamata Station, the water is pumped up from 120 meters underground. The area around today's Ota Ward is thought to have been at the bottom of the sea in ancient times. Runoff from fossilized vegetative matter and peat deep underground mixing with the geothermal water has resulted in the brown-black hot spring of today. Tasteless, odorless, and weakly alkaline, it has a reputation for making the skin smooth and keeping the body nice and warm for an extended period. The bathhouse is equipped with features like a cascade bath, a vibrating bath, and a sitting bath for extended relaxation."

Tokyo Areas

The setting of countless iconic movie scenes and the inspiration for songs, poetry, and literature worldwide, Tokyo barely requires an introduction. It’s hard for the kaleidoscopic neon lights, wacky pop culture, and some of the world’s tallest structures not to instill excitement in any first-time visitor to Tokyo, whether you’re in the very center of the hustle and bustle in Shinjuku or Shibuya or looking in from the quieter suburbs.
