This Japanese restaurant in a mountain hamlet surrounded by nature feels like a secret getaway. It's about three minutes by car from Takaosan Interchange on the Keno Expressway. They serve savory cuisine made with seasonal ingredients cooked on the charcoal fire of their irori hearth. Their plump and tasty thick-cut charcoal grilled chicken is a popular. The shop alters its ambiance to coincide with the changing seasons. Visitors look out on cherry blossoms in spring, fireflies in the garden in summer, the colored foliage of fall, and winter's snowy cover. The photogenic location makes it in demand for business dinners and wedding receptions.

Individual rooms with personal meal preparation was a particular treat. The food was exquisite. The detail of which I have spoken to friends since 1986 was the fireflies. An announcement was made...

リーガロイヤルホテル東京内にある鉄板焼きです。目の前で焼かれたステーキをいただけます。味は良いお肉を使っているだけあり、美味しいです。ただ、そういう高級なお店と言われればそうなのですが、お肉の種類を変更できると説明があるのですが、追加料金があることには一切触れないのはやや残念。
