    Tokyo Chiyoda-ku Marunouchi 1-9-1 Tokyo Station No.1 street B1
This is a concentration of restaurants specializing in ramen located on First Avenue Tokyo Station, just after heading out from JR Tokyo Station’s Yaesu Underground Central Exit. Tokyo Ramen Street opened in 2009 with four shops including the famous Osaki (in Tokyo) tsukemen shop Rokurinsha that consistently attracts long lines. After that, it welcomed new shops from Tokyo’s famous restaurants, and is growing as an established gourmet spot where one can try various kinds of ramen. Businessmen as well as Japanese tourists and people on business trips visit as well.

While all delicious (but any ramen in Japan is delicious), this area is definitely much smaller than I expected. In reality it is only a small handful of ramen restaurants in one area, I am more...

The shop’s hearty hot dogs, made with plump wieners, and its original frozen custard are also popular. Diners can enjoy a relaxing meal on the shop’s open and airy terrace overlooking the beautiful nearby avenue of gingko trees.

I dropped by with my girlfriend after a walk. The place was packed but the seats were well-distanced from each other. The shake was pretty good and sold in a wide assortment of flavors. There were...

A hot and rising star in the world of tsukemen (noodles accompanied by a broth for dipping) and is located adjacent to Tokyo Ramen Street just past Tokyo Station’s Yaesu Exit. Rokurinsha established the now-popular style of ultra-thick noodles served with an ultra-thick dipping soup, and is one of the most lined-up for restaurants in Japan. The meat-based dipping soup also incorporates seafood flavors to create a delicious broth you will want to enjoy down to the last drop. Once your noodles are finished, you can request that additional broth be added to the thick dipping soup, watering it down just enough to turn it into an excellent standalone soup.
