The staff at this chocolate shop call out enthusiastically as they work. You can spot it by its yellow sign. They offer steep discounts on chocolate, which some consider the specialty of the Ameyoko Market in Ueno. The workers shouting as they stuff customers' bags with chocolate is considered the market's premier performance. The items they fill the bags with would probably cost over 2,000 yen if purchased separately. The store itself gets packed too, with lots of visitors joining in the shouting fun.

They've been making their cakes with the same traditional lightly sweet flavor since they opened in 1872. Besides a snack to munch on while wandering Asakusa, they make tasty gifts and souvenirs. The shop also sells slightly sweet ankonashi treats.
