The Japanese-styled shop is housed inside of a renovated old private home with a traditional tiled roof. The shop's antique-styled showcases are filled with plain and simple-designed Western confections like cookies, apple pies, and choux creme. The shops tarts, made with seasonal fruits, are particularly popular. The shop also has an eat-in space where you can enjoy your just-purchased treat with a cup of tea.

    浅草寺裏手にある小さな洋菓子店。銀座松屋などにも入ってます。かわいい缶入りのお菓子は、予約がないとろくに買えず、袋はいちいち有料、それもなんだか迷惑そうに言われます。包装や会計もやたら遅く、なんだかモヤモヤします。ひとつひとつがすごくイヤな感じというわけではないですが、総体的には感じのいい店とは言えないです。

    An apple pie and sweets shop produced by Akiko Hirano located a four minute walk from Daikan-yama Station. The name Matsunosuke comes from Hirano's grandfather, who was a Noh costume artisan. Here you can enjoy healthy baked sweets and traditional treats from New England in the U.S. Particularly popular are the authentic American apple pies, made by baking fresh, uncooked apples wrapped as-is in the pie crust; and the rich, creamy New York cheesecake. The shop's fluffy pancake lunch is only served on weekdays.

    Must visit if you love pancakes. After 10 am the have the best pancakes I’ve ever eaten in this tiny restaurant. Worth the trip if you are in Kyoto.

This is the first permanent shop for the N.Y.C. Sand brand, whose wares were heretofore only available during limited time events. The N.Y. Caramel Sand, consisting of smooth caramel sandwiched between two crisp cookies, is based on the New York Havana sandwich cookie and was developed over a period of 10 years. The cookies, chocolate, and gooey caramel melting in your mouth produce an exquisite flavor. The packaging is also high class and these tasty cookies make for a great souvenir or business gift.

    Great place to purchase delicious chocolate from top Spanish chain. The ice cream, chocolates, and hot chocolate are fabulous. This is not a sit down place.

    Located near Shibuya Station on the 1st floor of the ANDOS2 Building, this raw ice cream shop has the concept of natural, high quality and simple and its ingredients are indeed simple. Using high-quality non-homogenized milk, the ice cream is made so as to not disrupt the flavor, color, texture or balance. Its surprisingly tall appearance has gathered a lot of attention on Instagram and is a fun sight to see. The best time to eat it is 10 seconds after serving. As you wait, the outside hardens and the inside is left soft. The sweetness is mellow, so you can enjoy a number of flavors and toppings.

    We ordered a soft serve and it had a gula melaka syrup. The ice cream was very creamy while the gula Melaka had it distinct flavor and sweetness. We are loved it though I would just still to plain...

Their signature item is their baked donut, made with loads of honey straight from Hokkaido right in the batter. There's even a cute little Kumagoron bear face stuck right in the donut hole, so it's as fun to see as to eat! The Ueno Station shop also has limited edition panda versions to commemorate Ueno Zoo's pandas!

    Even though already full after meal, we were attracted by the good smell of the cheese tart. Line up is required but worth to wait to have a bite.
