It's a well-known clamming spot, and from late March to early July visitors dig for them in the expansive tidal flat that extends several hundred meters from shore. The convenience of an adjoining parking lot and proximity to Mitsui Outlet Park Kisarazu ensures a flood of visitors every clamming season.

- Nakazato Beach is in Nakazato in the town of Shirako in Chosei County. Shirako is known as the original home of the beach seine in the Kujukuri region, and every once in a while, tourists can try their hand at fishing in this manner free of charge. In addition, it is known as a surfing spot, and has become a place that bustles with many surfers.
