    Consisting of two townhouses built in the Meiji period as well as a storehouse, Western-style building, and kura warehouse connected by a courtyard, this tasteful café is laden with the history and culture of Sawara. Customers can enjoy sweets, beverages, and foods made with fresh, local ingredients; the anmitsu syrup-covered anko bean paste and winter-only zenzai sweet red bean soup are particularly popular. In addition to the café space, there’s also a shop and gallery area.

    Remodeled in December 2016, Miyoshiya Is a tea house on the main path to Narita-san Shinsho-ji Temple. You can enjoy some relaxed sweets while gazing at the Japanese-style garden. The gentle sweet flavor of home-made omochi topped with soybean flour and Narita-grown peanut paste is popular. The cream anmitsu syrup-covered anko bean paste and cream mitsumame, a mixture of boiled beans with fruit pieces and syrup are also delicious options.

    鰻重食べに来てちょっと時間がありカフェをと思ってたまたま発見して入りました。 参道の喧騒から離れていて静かで良かったです。 庭も若いくて良いですね♪ サービスでほうじ茶出て来るのも良かったです。 脇に入って喧騒からゆっくりするのは良いカフェです。クレジットや電子マネーも使えます。 奥の外で喫煙も出来ます(^-^)v

In addition to the meticulously crafted sweet flavoring, you can also enjoy some ceremonial kaiseki-style meals. Limited to 30 orders per day, the popular plump pancakes are cooked up fresh on an iron pan as a meringue after being ordered.

    そろそろ暑くなりだした。かき氷を食べたいなぁ。と、本八幡駅前にある甘味処で、黒蜜きなこのソフトクリームのせを頂きました。暑かったのでとても美味しく頂けました。

    Located in Donoshita, Choshi City, Sanoya’s popularity reaches back to 1907. Their popular and addictive Imagawayaki hot muffins are made with superbly delicious black and white sweet bean paste at the factory next door. In addition, they also sell soft serve ice cream, shaved ice, and tokoroten gelatin.

    見た目に驚いた。表面がゴツゴツしている。 私は御座候が好きで、よく食するがここのとは違う。 比べたら悪いが、さのやのは繊細さを感じない。 無骨という印象。生地が厚く、好みは分かれる。 あんこは文句なしの美味しさ！１個１６０円！ ひっきりなしに客が訪れる有名店。 やはり私は御座候の味も見た目も好き。 御座候に軍配…あくまでも個人の感想。 リピなしと判断。

    At Kanmidokoro Kaede you can enjoy Japanese sweets and desserts like oshiruko, zenzai, and anmitsu with sweet bean pastes made from Tokachi grown adzuki and white beans. This meticulous sweet shop also uses Tamba grown Dainagon red beans in its tsubuan bean paste. They close once their anko bean jam runs out, so be sure to stop by early.

    フルーツたっぷりも美味しいのですが、たまにはちゃんとした甘味としてのかき氷を食べたくなります。上品に炊かれた餡と、行きすぎない甘さの蜜でいただくかき氷は和菓子でした。
