    This business area—IKSPIARI—is divided into nine zones according to theme, with 140 charming restaurants and shops to make a street filled with entertainment and fun. The centrally-located square is reminiscent of the outdoor amphitheaters of Europe, and is home to many events. There is also a movie theater, so you can enjoy a meal, shopping, and a movie—perfect for kids and adults.

    It was really crowded everywhere, impossible to walk into a restaurant. At popular meal times, there would be queues of at least 10 parties. Even at a timing of 2pm for lunch, there were still queues...

    Aloha Garden Tateyama, where visitors can enjoy time with the animals in the plaza, is the biggest zoo and botanical gardens in the prefecture. Visitors can enjoy Hawaiian shows on the special stage and Hawaiian food not available anywhere else. There is also a market and Hawaiian shop which gives the place a really tropical feel.

Free shuttle buses run daily from Mallage Kashiwa to the west exit of JR Kashiwa Station and the north exit of JR Abiko Station.

    The Fish is a market place for Minamiboso area. It is a pleasurable facility housing a cafe, sourvenir shops, and a restaurant overlooking the ocean from which you can dine on the fresh catch of the very same waters. The Baumkuchen confectionery Minamitei, awarded the highest Monde Selection Grand Gold Quality Award for two years running, is located here. You can watch the chefs making the confections through a glass window.

With the local fish kaiten-zushi (conveyor belt sushi) restaurant Yamadenmaru, local kaisen-don (seafood rice bowl) shop Bangoya Honten, and the all-you-can-eat hama-yaki (seafood grilled soon after catching) restaurant Ichiba Shokudo Amagoya, you can taste the bounty from the sea of Minamiboso. The souvenir shop sells specialty goods and original products, in addition to fresh fish, processed seafood goods and fresh local agricultural products.

    This high-rise building is a two-minute walk from the south exit of JR Kaihimmakuhari Station. It's Marive West and Marive East towers are both 35 stories high. It was the tallest building in Chiba Prefecture when it was completed in 1991, as well as Japan's first serviced office space. The upper floors have offices, and the lower floors have shops and the Marive Dining restaurant area with 2,000 seats serving Japanese, Chinese, Western, and other cuisines. Makuhari Messe is nearby, making it a good choice for business meals and dining when returning from events.
