This is a zoo and amusement park in Suka, Miyashiro Town, Minami-Saitama County. There are 120 species and 1,200 animals kept at the zoo including white tigers and brown bears, and there are roller coasters and rides suitable for children in the amusement park. Also there are a number of restaurants and stores. There is also a large outdoor pool facility called the “Tobu Super Pool” within the grounds.

This Roadside Station offers light meals and souvenirs, and also serves as a fresh vegetable and fruit market where bento lunchboxes, sweets, juice, sake, and other light meals can be purchased from outdoor vendors. They also sell miniature replicas of their trademark Showa kite, displayed atop the main entrance.

泉質最高！しかも湯量多く掛け流し。強塩泉で、お湯が口に入るとスープくらいしょっぱい。露天風呂あり。寝湯あり。玄人向けの激アツ立ち湯あり。ここは傷の治りが早くとてもあったまります。ごはんもおいしい。

This prefectural park is located on the border between Saitama and Ibaraki prefectures. At its center is the Gongendo Reservoir, which hosted the flatwater kayaking competition during the 59th National Sports Festival. It consists of four zones in total, including green spaces and multipurpose areas. Gongendo Tsutsumi is on the grounds, known as one of the best flower viewing spots in the Kanto region. Throngs of tourists visit, especially when the cherry trees are in bloom. The Satte Cherry Blossom Festival is held every year at this time.

A roadside station located in Saiba, Sugito Town, Kitakatsushika County. Facilities include a shop selling fresh vegetables from local farms as well as foods; a shop selling locally grown rice which will also polish the rice for you for free; a restaurant serving set meals made with local agricultural products; and a flower shop selling fresh flowers, vegetable seedlings, and gardening tools. Visitors can also try harvesting seasonal vegetables in the adjoining farm and grill and eat what they've gathered at the barbecue ground on the station's grounds (advance reservation required).

Visitors can enjoy a farm experience, and there are plenty of family-friendly activities, including a swimming pool that is open from mid-July to the end of August, a petting zoo, a playground, and a wide variety of events, including character shows, on the Forest Stage. All this makes MusashinoMura different from other theme parks.

I thought it was too expensive for the experience we had, the pamphlet showed a lot of attractions, few animals, the hall of mirrors goes without saying, disappointing, the horror room too...

The Saitama Aquarium is located inside the Hanyu Suigo Park which also is a natural habitat for the waterwheel water plant. The aquarium primarily displays the 70 different forms of life that thrive in the Arakawa River. The display is designed to depict 200 kilometers of the Arakawa River, from upstream downwards to the river mouth. A nationally protected species, the Tokyo bitterling, and the prefectural fish, a stickleback species, Pungitius, the carnivorous water plant, the waterwheel plant are nurtured and displayed.

"The Metropolitan Area Outer Underground Discharge Channel is the world's largest man-made underground river, constructed in the eastern part of Saitama Prefecture, around 30 minutes' drive from either the Satte Interchange and the Goka Interchange of the Metropolitan Inter-City Expressway. The underground discharge tunnels extend for 6.3 kilometers at a depth of 50 meters below the surface; the project comprises intake channels, discharge tunnels, and pumping equipment. The large containment silos, which are used to mitigate the impetus of the incoming water and ensure smooth flow, have become famous symbols of the project, being compared to an ""underground temple"" because of their huge size and imposing pillars. The containment silos and tunnels have been used as locations for various TV drama series and movies. The Social Experience Tours are available (please note that advance booking is required)."

この温泉、幾度も行っている。今回は風呂、サウナに入るだけではなく、藤花亭で初めて食事した。藤花亭は、この温泉の食事処。ぱりうまカレーうどんと、ちくわ天を食べたが、予想したより美味しかった。日帰り温泉の食堂の割に、きちんとした作りなのだ。また、藤花亭は広く、客席が多いから、他の客を気にすることなく食事ができる。そこも、良かった。

近くには久喜市の運動公園がありますが、郊外という感じで夜は周囲も真っ暗で静かでした。にぎやかな街中にある温泉とはまた違う落ち着いた雰囲気です。特に洞窟風呂というの、薄暗く静かで、本当にのんびり出来ました。お湯は浴槽によりますが源泉掛け流しもあり、茶色い色の温泉がなかなかよい風情を醸し出します。洗い場の半分をつぶしてサウナを追加して設置したようで、洗い場はあまり広くありませんでしたが、平日の夜だった...

A zoo located in Oyoshi, Koshigaya City. The zoo was opened to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the conclusion of sister city relations between Koshigaya City and Campbelltown, Australia. The zoo primarily cares for and displays birds such as Major Mitchell's cockatoos and Sulphur-crested cockatoos donated by Campbelltown. Visitors can view birds such as cockatiels allowed to fly free inside a huge aviary, as well as Bennett's wallabies.

園内は小さいながらも結構楽しめますね。オカメインコ、キバタン、モモイロインコ等々オーストラリア原産の野鳥を間近で楽しめるのがGoodです。さすがにキバタンやモモイロインコはオリの中ですけどね。家でもオカメインコを2羽飼っているので、妻と娘は枝上のオカメインコ探しに夢中になっていました。

道の駅としては、かなり小さいと思います。飲食コーナーで、コーヒーなど飲みながら、ちょっとだけ休憩させていただきました。ラーメンもおいしそうでしたが。
