This traditional river rafting tour is offered each year from around March 10 to early December. Customers can choose between three courses - from Oyahana Bridge to Iwadatami, from Iwadatami to Takasago Bridge, and one course traveling the full length from Oyahana Bridge to Takasago Bridge. No advance reservation is required and tours leave every five to 20 minutes. A special limited time tour is also offered in winter which has riders sit in a toasty-warm kotatsu (heated table with a blanket).

Built on 497 meter tall Mt. Hodo, the Hodosan Ropeway connects the 832 meters between Sanroku Station at the foot and Sancho Station at the summit. During the five minute ride, you can enjoy the beautiful scenery of Nagatoro from the air. Starting with kanzakura cold weather cherries which reach peak bloom in late November, you can enjoy spectacular flowering plants here through to mid-June, including Japanese allspice, Japanese apricot, pheasant’s eye, cherry trees, azaleas, and rhododendrons. In autumn, the fall foliage is stunning.

A three-minute walk from Wado-Kuroya Station on the Chichibu Line. Here you can enjoy quality strawberries carefully raised and managed using clean air, pure water, and the temperature differences between morning and night. The farm grows more than 10 varieties of strawberries, including Tochiotome and Akahoppe; the farm's original white strawberries have not yet been named. The farm grows its strawberries using raised planters and fully automatic growing systems in seven greenhouses, and, depending on the time of year, visitors can enjoy up to six strawberry varieties. The farm incorporates universal design principles, ensuring stroller and wheelchair users can easily enter and use the farm's facilities. Sainokuni Fureai Farm is a tourist farm located on Prefectural Route 361 in Sakamoto, Higashichichibu Village, Chichibu County. Besides raising dairy cattle and beef cattle, the Farm also has a variety of other animals—including goats, sheep, rabbits etc.—for visitors to interact with in the farmyard and in the pastures; visitors can also enjoy beautiful seasonal flowers, etc. There are displays on animal husbandry, and a range of hands-on experience activities to try. There are also direct sales outlets selling dairy produce and local agricultural produce; light meals etc. are available.

This facility complex with the theme of Japanese paper is located in Mido Higashi-Chichibu Village, Chichibu County. It is also called “Roadside Station Washi-no-Sato Higashi-Chichibu.” In addition to a workshop where you can observe and try out techniques involved with handmaking traditional local “Hosokawa paper,” they also have other facilities including a paper making building built during the Edo period, exhibits for traditional culture, restaurants and a food court. These are also direct sales stores for Japanese paper products and agricultural goods.

This farm is located along Fruit Road in Shimoyoshida, Chichibu City. Five varieties of strawberry, including “Kaorino” and “Mouikko,” are cultivated here with the help of wine compost. From January until around June, you can enjoy strawberry picking as well as interacting with the rabbits and goats that are raised on the farm. In addition, a nearby pond is well known as a spot for fireflies. For the duration of the firefly season, that begins in around mid-June, you can use the farm’s parking lot.

A facility situated along Prefectural Route 82 in Ido, Nagatoro Town, Chichibu County. The facility hosts restaurants serving zuriage (udon noodles eaten while parboiling them), shakushina meshi (rice with pickles), and other local dishes; a classroom where visitors can try making udon noodles by hand; a ceramics classroom; and a barbecue ground. Visitors can also try catching ayu and rainbow trout with their bare hands in the facility's pond or go river rafting.

電車で長瀞に行ったので、駅から徒歩圏内のここでお昼にしました。片道2キロ、20分くらい掛かりました。なぜか川沿いではなく、林の中にありました。かなり大きなBBQ場なので、気兼ねなく焼けます。ただ駐車場は狭く、駐車できない車も出てました。一番安いコースでも豚肉と野菜が新鮮でとてもおいしかったです。もう少し近ければ行きやすいのですが・・。

This farm is located in Yokoze, Yokoze Town, Chichibu County. They cultivate strawberries using organic fertilizer amid the fresh water and air at the foot of Mt. Buko, and the strawberries are harvested from around mid-December. Other than hot stone barbecuing (which requires a reservation) and getting a chance to taste about 10 kinds of homemade gelato, you can also pet miniature goats. In addition, rare white strawberries called “Awayuki” are available for pre-orders.

横瀬にある農園です。いちご農園なのでいちご狩りができます。こちらはシャーベットを売っていて１つ300円から。農園でとれた野菜やフルーツを使っているので素材の味がしっかりしていてとてもおいしいです。とくにいちご農園だけあっていちごのシャーベットがおすすめ

From early August to mid-October, the farm's shop sells 30 varieties of grapes and visitors can go grape picking amongst roofed grape trellises. The orchard also offers blueberry picking in August. Plus, visitors can enjoy barbecuing on a hot stone plate or watch the Paleo Express Chichibu Railway steam locomotive running nearby.

This river trip is held in Nagatoro, Chichibu county. This cruise goes down the Arakawa River and offers views of the natural wonders of Nagatoro valley, including Iwadatami, a National Special Natural Monument. Spring offers cherry blossoms, autumn is filled with fall colors, and in winter you can ride a heated-table kotatsu boat, so there is something for every season here. The information desk is near Nagatoro Station, along the back path to Hodosan Shrine.
