    A buffet restaurant located in the Kawagoe Wholesale Market situated along Prefectural Route 114 in Ofukuro, Kawagoe City. The restaurant serves a shared lunch and dinner buffet style menu consisting of dishes made with local, fresh vegetables and other ingredients from Kawagoe. Certain menu selections are also only available at certain times, such as barbecue dishes only offered during dinner, and sashimi made with choice fish from the market only offered during dinner on weekends.

    評判がよかったので、昼間に『予約無くても入れるか？』と確認したところ、「待つけど大丈夫ですか？」と言われたので待つのを覚悟で向かいました。 が、入り口で「予約なしの方は今日は入れない」と言われ追い返されました。わざわざあんな僻地まで言ったのに笑 もう二度と行くことはないですね。電話対応すらまともな教育できないとこだとわかりました。

    さつまいもを薄く長くスライスしたチップスです。このままだと味が無いのでソースが色々選べます。一番人気の塩バターは良く合いますね。見映えもして美味しいおやつでした。

The bakery sells breads made by hand using flour from Hokkaido and natural yeast, and without the use of additives. Popular breads like the ""Premium Shokupan,"" designed to be eaten untoasted and made by fermenting the dough for 18 hours to maximize the flavor; and the ""Omiso no Pan"" bread made with glutinous rice flour and Chichibu miso added to the dough, ensure that the bakery frequently sees lines of waiting customers."

    菓子屋横丁にある人気のパン屋さんです。土日は並んでいることが多いですし、午後以降だと種類が少ないこともあります。どれも美味しかったです。店の外にちょっとしたカフェスペースも用意されており、ゆっくり過ごすことができます。

    A confectioner that first opened in 1887. Their popular Fukuzou treat has been sold for over 40 years and has sold upwards of 3.5 million units in a year. It has been certified as part of the Kawagoe Selection and as a Sai-no-Kuni Excellent Brand Product. Also popular is their Beni-Akakun rendition of the traditional Japanese Sweet Potato desert and their Kyutaro Kitsune manjuu pie dumpling.

    年始に長期で関東に滞在。 青春１８きっぷを利用していた関係で、埼玉も訪問してきました。 このときに川越にも訪問したのですが、「くらづくり本舗 久保町本店」さんで「喜多のかけ橋」を購入。 「ダックワーズ」の和風バージョンみたいな感じなのですが、軽くて持ち運びがとっても楽（笑）。 食感も良くてとても美味しかったです。

    The Ichibangai location of this confectioner has a tea house which offers a popular food menu starring Imo-Okowa (sweet potato and rice). Their popular Imo-Koi manjuu bun, a mixture of sweet potato and whole red beans wrapped in a dough made with mochi rice and yams, offers a nostalgic flavor and has been chosen as one of Sai-no-Kuni's Authorized Superior Brand Goods. Their Imo-Pote cakes and Imo-Okowa make for great souvenirs.

    たまたま通りがかかって見つけました。 落ち着いていて、良い雰囲気。 食べ物にバラが乗っていて、ほっこり。 店員さんも良い感じ^ ^ おこわのランチ美味しかった♪ 写真の物は、税込1200円です。

    A confectioner run cafe that first opened in 1887. The interior features tasteful tatami flooring and warm lighting resulting in a relaxed atmosphere. Their menu includes anmitsu (a mixture of bean jam, boiled beans, agar cubes, fruit pieces and syrup), parfait, set meal with steamed foods, steamed red beans and rice, dengaku miso seasoned foods, mochi topped with grated radish and soy sauce, Kura-no-machi cider, and COEDO beer.

    川越には沢山の和菓子屋がありますが、代表格として君臨する老舗。喫茶コーナーもある店舗。商品はいろいろありますが、やはり一番人気の蔵づくり最中。最中の中にお餅がしっかり入っており、最高に美味しいです。

    An eatery located in the corner of Fine China Store YAMAWA. Try the Sweet Potato Mini-Kaiseki course meal which explores a variety of tastes and textures of Kawagoe's local specialty, the sweet potato. They're also well known for their desserts including Cream Anmitsu (a mixture of bean jam, boiled beans, agar cubes, fruit pieces and syrup) and Oshiruko red bean soup. The black lacquered bar tables have matching high chairs and feature small holes on their top where you can place cups with pointed bottom and also a small cubby underneath where you can easily stash a handbag. It's also nice to enjoy the elegant plating that you won't find anywhere outside of a china store.

    A long-standing Japanese confectioner first founded in 1783. They served the Kawagoe domain for generations before, in 1847, receiving the Kameya Daijo Fujiwara Kaei professional certification from the Kyoto Imperial Palace. The treats they make, inheriting the flavor and techniques passed down from the Edo period, have earned them much admiration. Their signature product Kame-no- Monaka is a beloved and elegant bite-sized wafer cake shaped like a turtle shell, and there are also seasonal limited products with the flavor of cherry blossoms and matcha green tea.

    川越街道沿いにあります。ケーキや焼き菓子などの洋菓子だけでなく、大福や饅頭といった和菓子もあります。夏だったのでアイスクリームも種類が豊富にありました。プレミアムと名前についたアイスでも値段は安くておいしかったです。

    川越の人気観光スポット時の鐘のそばにある和菓子やさん。焼きかりんとうが人気のお店で、以前お土産でいただいて美味しかったのでお土産で購入しました。焼きかりんとう以外にもお土産になる和菓子が色々あるので、和菓子のお土産を買うにはいいお店です。

    行った時に店員さんが2人しかいなく、1人はドリンク系のアイス作戦で対応なし。もう1人は1人前の方の注文とアイス作成。お待ちくださいの一言もなかったので、私もその後ろの人もどこで待つのか分からず。。。スタッフ増やすなり、こちらに並んでお待ちくださいの声かけがあった方が良いと思う
