The museum also offers Bushu aizome indigo dyeing classes. The adjoining Aizome Sokubaikan shop sells indigo dyed clothing, accessories, and cloth.

    A strawberry farm located in Nanbata Shinden, Fujimi City. The farm grows three varieties of strawberries-Akihime, Benihoppe, and Kaorino-on raised platforms, and during strawberry season visitors can enjoy strawberry picking here with no need to make an advance reservation. The farm also incorporates universal design principles and has a rest area. In addition, the farm provides free tea and coffee.

    A strawberry farm situated along Prefectural Route 343 in Saido, Moroyama Town, Iruma County. The farm grows its strawberries on raised platforms and incorporates universal design principles. The farm also offers classes teaching how to make strawberry jam, strawberry daifuku rice cakes, strawberry juice, and strawberry cake by hand. An advance reservation is required for strawberry picking as well as the farm's classes.

    This river trip is held in Nagatoro, Chichibu county. This cruise goes down the Arakawa River and offers views of the natural wonders of Nagatoro valley, including Iwadatami, a National Special Natural Monument. Spring offers cherry blossoms, autumn is filled with fall colors, and in winter you can ride a heated-table kotatsu boat, so there is something for every season here. The information desk is near Nagatoro Station, along the back path to Hodosan Shrine.

    This fruit orchard is in Fujimi City, Saitama Prefecture. Located in the residential area near Fujimino Station, this strawberry farm allows you to pick your own strawberries. The elevated table growing area allows strollers and wheelchairs to move freely over the flat floor. Since they grow on two levels, children have easy access to the lower berries as well. The reception area also sells strawberries to take home.

    Ichigu-sha is a ceramics experience workshop located in the Nagatoro district of Nagatoro Town in Chichibu County. Experiential activities are available for making pottery with an electric potter’s wheel, making hand-thrown pottery, and decorating pottery, all taught by expert instructors. The hand-thrown pottery activity is also available for groups and families. Completed pots will be fired within a period of around one and a half months (one month for decorated pots).

    A shop offering order made leather goods. Every step the craftsmen does manually from purchasing the leather, to cutting the pattern, and doing the stitching individually stitch by stitch. With each piece being completely individual and carefully designed and produced the shop has well deserved popularity. They also hold hands-on leather crafting classes, which require advance consultation and reservations.

    A studio where you can experience the traditional safflower dyeing technique of Okegawa City. You'll be carefully taught the tie-dyeing technique as you made your own original safflower dyed handkerchief or scarf. Reservations are required to be made at least two days prior to your visit. They also sell various items including fragrance bags filled with safflower. They have a number of materials available related to the dyeing experience looking at topics including safflowers and dyeing techniques.

    A strawberry farm where the strawberries are grown in raised beds. This along with a spacious shop, rest area, parking lot, and accessible toilets makes the farm accessible for those in wheelchairs. The farm grows a variety of strawberry variations including Royal Queen, Benihoppe, Akihime, Yayoihime, and Amarin with a picking season from January to May. Strawberries are sold from December to May. From August to October figs are sold by reservation. Reservations are accepted up until the morning of purchase and can be picked up that afternoon.

    A place to stop in after exploring Sakitama Ancient Burial Mounds Park. Anyone regardless of age can enjoy making their very own Haniwa clay figure with the help of an instructor. Making the figure takes around one and a half to two hours and then it is left to dry for a month before being fired in an almost 800-degree kiln for nearly seven hours. Please make a reservation before visiting.

They grow both strawberries and blueberries and visitors can enjoy picking the fruits. Strawberries are available from early January to mid-May and varieties including Benihoppe and Akihime strawberries. Blueberries are available from late July to early September and varieties include Highbush and Rabbiteye blueberries. You can also enjoy watching the sunflowers and picking sweet potatoes in the autumn.

    A farm covering 1200 tsubo (nearly 4000 square meters) that lovingly grows nearly 500 blueberry bushes. Enjoy blueberry picking in a relaxed at-home environment. The blueberries start to change color in early June and the farm is open until late August. You can also harvest blackberries and rhubarb.

    A tourist vineyard that offers grape picking and direct sales of fruit. They offer nearly 10 varieties of grapes including Kyoho grapes and Shine Muscat grapes. Grape picking is open from early August to late September with different varieties available depending on time. There's a shop at the entrance to the vineyard which sells whichever grapes are in season as well as grape products and fresh vegetables picked that morning. You check in for grape picking at the shop.

    This farm grows over 100 varieties of vegetables alongside blueberries and seeks to deliver produce that is both safe and delicious. The blueberries are grown without pesticides or chemical fertilizers and you can enjoy blueberry picking from late June to early August. They grow a wide variety of types of blueberries including Collins, Berkeley, Blueray, Ozarkblue, Woodard, Homebell, Brightwell, Powder Blue, O'Neal, and Florida Star blueberries.

    A farm dedicated to growing delicious grapes in mineral rich terroir with organic fertilizers. They raise a wide variety of grapes from old favorites to new breeds. You can enjoy grape picking from mid-August to late September. Starting in mid-September you can also harvest chestnuts until whenever all the chestnuts are gone.

    An orchard covering 1.2 hectares in Kotesashi, Tokorozawa. It opened as a Japanese plum orchard in 1974 and by 1977 had become a fun spot to also hunt for grapes, chestnuts, Japanese pears, and other produce. The plums are in season from mid to late July, the grapes from early August to late September, and the pears come into season in late September to early October.

    After researching the cultivation of seedless watermelons from 1955-1960 they took an interest in Kyoho grapes, and started this vineyard with planting ten different varieties of grapes, primarily Kyoho, Campbell and others. In present times they grow 15 different varieties of grapes amongst which about seven are available for picking. They are in season from mid-August to mid-September.

    This agritourism farm is located in Yokoze, Yokoze TOwn, Chichibu County. They cultivate fruit such as strawberries and grapes, with strawberry picking taking place from January to May, and grape picking from August to October. You can catch fish (which requires a reservation) from August to September, and dig sweet potatoes from September to October, and you can also enjoy barbecues on the farm all year long. You can also pound mochi rice (reservation required) and eat ones made with freshly picked strawberries.
