A confectionary factory located in 9-Chome Nakamaru, Kitamoto City. The factory offers free, reservation-only tours. Tour-goers can see Pocky, Pretz, and other snacks being made; watch a movie about the history of the company; check out some 1,500 toys provided as prizes by Glico throughout the years; and take a quiz challenge, and in turn learn about Glico and snack making. For a small fee, visitors can also decorate a Giant Pocky sticky with the toppings of their choice.

A confectionary factory situated along National Route 16 in Shinsayama, Sayama City. Built as a candy factory in 1969, today the factory produces 120 varieties of confections. Free tours are provided on weekdays (advance reservation required), and visitors can learn how confections are made through videos and informational panels as well as a tour of the production lines and a tasting of fresh-made products.

Saitama Hiki-gun Ogawamachi Otsuka 178-2

This sake brewery is located along Prefectural Route 11 in Otsuka, Ogawa Town, Hiki County. The rice used to prepare the local Seiun brew uses the minimum rice polishing ratio of 65%, and their “Ogawa Natural Sake” is made with 100% organic rice. The location also offers a free tour of the sake manufacturing process, and they also offer tours of the brewery museum and have an option to purchase sake for tasting. The restaurant “Tamaiya” can also be found built next to the brewery, where they serve various dishes prepared with local organic vegetables and water for sake making.

たまたま通りがかって寄りました。古い蔵の２階は資料館になっています。ショップでは試飲もできるようでした。こちらで作られた甘酒を購入しました。想像以上に美味しかったです

A three minute walk from the Chichibu Station on the Chichibu Railway, this historic brewery, founded in 1753, proudly produces the Buko Masamune brand sake, having a history of winning many awards and competitions. The sake is brewed using the ground water from Mt. Buko which is drawn up from a well within the confines of the brewery. Visitors arriving during business hours bringing their own containers can take this water home. 40 minute tours of the brewery are offered which end with a sake tasting event (reservations required). The two story wooden structure of the brewery built during the late Edo period is a Registered Tangible Cultural Property of Japan.

Yamaki was founded in 1905 and manufactures and sells miso, soy sauce, tofu and other products made from rare ingredients with organic JAS certification that do not use pesticides, chemical fertilizers or herbicides. There are also classes where you can experience making miso, soy sauce and tofu, harvesting vegetables, and learning about herbs.

This factory and direct sales store for Asahara Brewery is located in Ueno, Ogose Town, Iruma County. Here they produce beer, wine and liqueur made from fruits such as yuzu citrus. The factory can also be visited with an advance reservation. The store is stocked with sake, shochu, wine, liqueur, and more, all made by the same brewery. It is also equipped with a drink sampling corner.

This handmade Japanese washi paper maker and shop was established in 1913 in the Japanese papermaking area of Ogawa Town, Saitama Prefecture. Since it first opened, it has made a wide array of paper products, from traditional washi papers to papers created using techniques suited to the times. Its studio was built 100 years ago, and visitors can view it and see one of Japan's old-fashioned workshops adjoining the craftsman's home. The shop, situated on National Route 254, carries a wide selection of papers used for all manner of creative activities, as well as the company's own products made with washi; there's also a sales space for products created by other crafters and designers. The gallery on the second floor displays items made with washi paper and may be freely viewed.

予約が必要です。折角地元にあるので一度は行ってみたくて２か月前から準備して見学に至りました。まずアイスができるまでを見学して最後のブースでお買い物やユーホーキャッチャーなどが無料で楽しめるほか、時間制限は有りますが、アイスが食べられます！おかわりは自由なので３種類頂きました-。美味しかったです(^^)v

スクリーンで工場案内視聴→チョコレートのライン見学（チョコの試食ひとかけら）→グミのラインは見られず、モニターにてグミの製造過程を見る（グミの試食一粒）→解散、の流れでした。お土産にプッカと果汁グミをいただきました。見学中はメモ取り禁止。（ゴミの関係とか）体験コーナーなどの参加型イベントは全くない（途中カカオをすり潰した液体の匂いは嗅ぎましたが）ため、小学校高学年以降の子にオススメですかね...

久しぶりにここ松岡酒造さんへ寄って見ました。と言うのはこの先の東秩父の和紙の里と言う道の駅でイワナをお昼に食べ、お土産に買った帰りなので、ついつい誘惑に負け、自分のお土産としていつもの辛口タイプの社長の酒を3本送って貰うように頼んで来たのです。明日から当分冷やでの晩酌が続きそうです。ラッキー❣️

一般小売をしていない酒蔵で、ここで買うか、通販か、直営の飲食店で飲むか、ここの宴会でしか飲めないお酒です。工場見学の後は大宴会。飲み放題、生バンドあり、マグロ解体ショーありでメチャメチャ盛り上がります。最後はみんなで大合唱。社長がいつも飲みすぎないでくださいねーと言っているにもかかわらず、何度も救急車出動しているらしいです笑。何十回も参加しているリピーターの方がたくさんいるのも納得の楽しい工場...

越生梅林を見に行きました。梅林に行く前に3箇所、農産物直売所、弘法山観世音、佐藤酒造に寄り道して行きます。弘法山は道に迷って八幡神社に出てしまったけど、佐藤酒造は道すがりで簡単にわかった。先客は1組の夫婦だけ。越生梅林の手前の佐藤酒造店で越生の地酒を買いました。 1760円。急ぎ梅林に行く。
