    This free public bathhouse in Kusatsu, Kusatsu Town is located next to the venerable Osakaya Kusatsu Hot Spring Inn. The bath house is managed by the local residents and along with separate bathing rooms for men and women it is set up to allow guests to experience the traditional Kusatsu bathing practice of “Jikan-yu” or timed bathing.

    This is a hot spring hotel ryokan in Kusatsu Onsen located in Agatsuma County, Gumma Prefecture. The source of the hot spring is from Yubatake, considered to be high quality clear water beneficial for nerve pain and skin diseases. As well as a large bath that has three types of water temperature, there are outside baths with two types of bath tubs made of cypress and ceramic. In addition, there is a fully private garden bath. For dining, hot pot dishes such as sukiyaki with Joshu Wagyu beef and local ingredients, as well as traditional Japanese style courses, are offered. There are Japanese and Western style guest rooms with a relaxing atmosphere and semi suite rooms with private hot spring baths.

    This footbath, located next to the Kusatsu-Onsen Bus Terminal, consists of a modern-styled wood gazebo enclosing a stone bath basin. Open 24 hours a day and available for all to use, its perfect for soaking tired feet just after getting off a bus or while waiting for your bus to arrive. The bath’s clear waters are constantly replenished from a hot spring source and will warm your entire body from your feet. The bath is compact, so visitors are encouraged to be forgiving of each other and make space so everyone can enjoy it. Be aware that no towels are provided, so be sure to bring your own for drying your feet afterward.

    Footbath and drinking fountain adjacent to "National Guest House Shima Yuzuriha-so" in Shima, Nakanojo-machi, Azuma-gun. 100% Shima hot spring water, which is said to be "effective for Shima's illnesses," is available free of charge. The spring is also effective for chronic constipation, diabetes, and cholelithiasis.

    足湯ができ、飲泉も可能と書いてあるので覗いてみましたが、調整中の貼り紙がありお湯はありませんでした。残念!!!

    The hot springs from the Nagazasasawa River in Nakanojo Town, Agatsuma County, Gunma Prefecture were formed into this giant bath by damming the river on both sides. The nearby mountains and trees provide a freeing natural atmosphere. The name of the spring derives from the story of people’s hemorrhoids being healed when they burned their butts on the warmed stones at the bottom. Bathing in a bathing suit is acceptable but changing rooms are not available.

    A public bathing bath facility in Kusatsu, Kusatsu Town. It is a free bathhouse managed by local residents, but it is also open to tourists. The bath is fed from the source known as the Jizo Source in the small yubatake (hot water field and spring source) in front of the bath house. Nearby is a small hall with decorated Jizo statues inside affectionately known as the Mearai Jizo (eye-washing Jizo statues).

    This hotel, a hot spring also available day use, is located in the foothills of Mt. Aoba and can be accessed after alighting at the JR Kusatsu Onsen bus terminal from Naganohara-Kusatsuguchi Station in Gunma Prefecture. It was established in 1913 and the calm atmosphere of the Japanese style rooms eases the travel fatigue of the guests. The source of the hot spring is from Sainokawara hot spring which is only drawn to serve a few hot spring facilities. Visitors can enjoy the soft water of the hot spring in the Amber bath, scented with wood, and Hosen-no-yu bath made of stone. Private baths and foot baths are also available to use, and guests can also enjoy the course menus of sashimi and hot pot dishes made with local, seasonal produce.

    This drinking Fountain is located in Nakanojo Town, Agatsuma County. It is one of the Shima hot springs. It is located next to Shima Post Office, and the Azumaya (Eastern style) roof makes it easy to spot. There are two gourd-shaped basins, one high and one low. Meiji no Yu is the source of the spring water. It is said to be effective for chronic gastrointestinal disease, chronic constipation and gout, among others. The water is slightly salty, and is easy to drink because of its lukewarm temperature. It is recommended that drinkers whose bowels are tired drink the water after a meal without diluting it.

    This public bathhouse, a 25-minute drive on the Agatsuma Sightseeing Bus bound for Sawatari and leaving from Nakanojo Station on the JR Agatsuma Line, is the only one in Sawatari Onsen. The waters of the bathhouse' calcium sodium chloride spring are said to treat rheumatism, hemorrhoids, skin diseases, and women's diseases. Visitors staying in Sawatari Onsen can use the bathhouse for free but must remember to bring a bathing permit from their inn or hotel. The waters of Sawatari Onsen are said to grant one beautiful, gem-like skin with just a single bath, and locals also frequently make use of this bathhouse. The bathhouse only has a men's and women's indoor bathing area with extra hot and hot baths, so you can choose which type suits you best.

    A footbath located in front of the Jizo Hot Spring public hot spring bathhouse. Open 24 hours a day, everyone is free to enjoy the footbath while being watched over by the nearby Jizo statue and enjoying the view of the hot spring mineral harvesting field. After enjoying a bath in the Jizo Hot Spring, soak your feet here to stay warm while waiting to meet up with friends. The stone paving at the front of the footbath is covered with small stones for visitors to walk barefoot on to stimulate the pressure points of the feet. Try walking on them after warming your feet in the bath for a foot massage-like effect.

    A footbath situated along the bank of a river in the Yamaguchi area of the Shima Onsen hot spring district. The bath was recently remodeled in 2014. Yamaguchi Kawane Ashi no Yu is closed in winter (late November to early April). Shima Onsen has been a renowned hot spring health resort area since ancient times, and the Yamaguchi Kawane Ashi no Yu is one of several public footbaths in the area; the footbath is reached by crossing a small bridge. Visitors can soak their weary feet while enjoying the natural beauty of the surrounding forest and the clear waters of the adjacent river. The footbath still retains traces of its former incarnation as an outdoor full-body bath, and an old-fashioned townscape is also visible from the bath, reminding users of a bygone time in Japan.

    A pool and hot spring within the Hotel Village onsen resort located in Kusatsu, Kusatsu Town, Agatsuma County. The facility has a Pool Zone complete with an indoor pool with 25 meter swimming lane and play area as well as an outdoor pool open in the summer. The Relax Zone has hot spring baths, sauna and massage area. The abundant onsen waters are drawn from a spring called Bandai Kogensen, which has an especially high temperature.

The tasteful wooden bath house was built new in 2006. Receiving a divine mission of healing 40,000 diseases, this hot spring uses the original hot spring that started it all. It is said to be effective for cuts, nerve pain, and fatigue.

    An open-air bath located within the Manza Kogen Hotel along the Asama-Shirane-Shiga Sawayaka-Kaido Highway in Manza Onsen, Tsumagoi, Agatsuma County. There are seven communal baths and one women's only bath fed by four different personal springs. The springs stem from an acidic sulfur-containing magnesium sodium sulphate hot spring that helps with nerve pain, muscle pain, sensitivity to cold, joint pain, recovery from fatigue, movement disorders, and other maladies and there are a variety of different bath types including cloudy baths, amber baths, transparent baths, and more.
