    The Cafe Restaurant Ashima, famous for yaki (grilled) curry, a specialty of Minakami Onsen, was established more than 25 years ago. In addition to the original yaki curry dish which has been popular since the store first opened, the weekday limited pasta lunch plate and coffee made with the delicious water of Tanigawa River are also popular. Pets accompanying guests are allowed on the terrace. It is about a ten minute on walk from JR Minakami Station.

    みなかみで宿泊した旅館の中居さんより美味しいバームクーヘン屋さんということで紹介頂きました。そこそこのお値段でしたが、幾つかバームクーヘンを購入してドライブ中に頂きました。美味しくて色んな味が楽しめて良かったです。

    諏訪峡のすぐ近くにあり、店名もそのまんまです。 ダムを模した、ダムカレーが有名なようですが、ビジュアルだけな気がしたので、トンカツを頼みました。 群馬県産の豚を使っているとのことで、カツメニューのバリエーションは豊富です。 ヒレの味噌カツをいただきましたが、甘めの味噌ダレでおいしかったです。料金はちょっと高めですが、観光地なので仕方ないです。

    この街道で唯一とも言える夜遅くまで営業の洋食屋です。子供と二人でミックスピザ、ヒレステーキ、スープ等をオーダー。テキパキと配膳があり、どれも美味しく頂きました。しかもコスパ良しです。周りはレジャー帰りの常連さんが多いよう。デザートにアイスとプリンを頼みましたが300円とは思えない豪華さでした。ペンションの夕食代わりの利用にもオススメです。

    This long-standing Japanese confectioner in Shimonomachi Town, Numata City was founded in 1825. Their specialty is their Miso Manju bun which uses sake in the dough batter and is then covered with a miso-based sauce before being grilled over a charcoal fire. Along with their Sake Manju made with their own homemade red bean paste and their Miso Manju, a grilled Sake Manju, they also sell their secret recipe sweet miso.

    NHK大河ドラマ館の近くにあり、沼田観光では外せないと思い訪れました。餡ありとなしの２種類を注文して店内で食べさせてもらいました。ふわふわでクセになる初めての食感でした。個人的には、餡ありなしともに美味でした。 昔ながらの風情のある店内で良い旅の思い出になりました。ありがとうございました。

They're known for their Sake-Manju bun which offers red bean paste made with Hokkaido red beans wrapped in a dough made with unrefined sake lees as well as their Onsen-Manju bun which takes red bean paste with whole red beans and wraps it in a brown dough made with carefully chosen brown sugar. They also offer their specialty Mikuni-no-Uta baked treat made using Seimei Eggs from Komochi Natural Megumi Farm and cream cheese.

    A restaurant with a nostalgic atmosphere located on the shore of Lake Akaya, a dam lake known as a scenic spot with a view of the Tanigawa mountain range. In addition to hearty bowls of rice topped with maitake mushroom tempura and sauce katsu-don (pork cutlet served on top of a bowl of rice), the restaurant also serves a variety of set menus such as ginger yaki, ramen, and soba noodles.

    すごいボリューム感のある丼です。丼の表面は一面のグリーンです。見たら驚くこと請け合いです。刻んだキュウリとシソの葉が一面に乗せられて、ゴマと特製の出汁がかけられています。このキュウリとシソの層を突破しなければ、その下の鮪の切り身に出会えません。後半はお腹が一杯になるにつれ、単調な味で飽きが出てきました。まあ一度試してください。話のネタになります。

    A Japanese confectioner located in front of Minakami Station in Kanosawa, Minakami Town, Tone County. They sell treats including their Yu-no-Hana (Hot spring mineral deposit) Manju bun, an Onsen-Manju with your choice of either smooth red bean paste or chunky red bean paste filling, and their Minakami-Yaki, a baked treat with a butter-based dough covering a yellowish bean paste filling. Also popular is their Nama-Dorayaki stuffed pancake made with a hearty helping of fresh whipped cream and that is fast becoming a new specialty of Minakami Onsen.

    A restaurant in Sukawa, Minakami Town, Tone County. The restaurant is managed by nearby hot spring inn Yujuku Onsen Otakiya Ryokan. It operates out of a moved and restored classic Japanese townhouse that was built in the late Edo period and originally used for silk worm farming. They primarily serve soba and udon noodle dishes. Come try their specialty Gorobe-Udon which mixes wide udon noodles slow cooked together with duck and other ingredients in a miso-based broth. They also serve fried tempura made with locally grown vegetables as well as Kamameshi kettle cooked rice and other dishes.
