With the support of the center's skilled staff, visitors can enjoy a variety of activity tours. Tambara Lavender Park is a facility that opens every year from late June to early September where a lavender field and more than 100 types of wonderful flowers can be seen. In the summer two lifts operate and visitors can see the Tambara groves and highlands as well as the lavender fields from above, as if walking on air. This ski resort is located approximately five minutes from the Kan’etsu Expressway Minakami Interchange. There is also a free shuttle bus service from the JR Minakami Station or from the Joetsu Shinkansen Jomo-kogen Station (reservation required). It is accessible for day trips from the Tokyo area. In addition to a variety of beginner level to advanced level courses, there is also the ENJOY PARK, designed by Naoki Tsushima a leading Japanese park guru, and Snow Land, with its many snow attractions for both children and adults to enjoy. The long night ski course, open from 10 p.m. to midnight is also very popular.

This ski resort is open only to skiers, and is located in Katashina Village, Tone County, Gunma Prefecture. A ski slope which is 2,500 meters long and descends for 300 meters is provided for beginners and children to safely enjoy, as well as a course with moguls for advanced skiers. Other courses include the Kaede Course slope on a slight incline and varying width, which has become popular with intermediate level skiers. There is also the Miffy Adventure Park, which is an area where small children can enjoy mountain sledding, roasting marshmallows on campfires and other activities without the need for any equipment.

At four kilometers it’s longest slope utilizes the natural topography of the landscape. The kids park and a beginner area make it great for families and those new to skiing. From the summit you can enjoy magnificent views of the surrounding mountains.

This snow park is located in Katashina Village 1 hour 30 minutes by bus from Numata Station. It is blessed with beautiful mountain landscapes and a natural environment. There are a variety of courses available, including the Dynamic Course, a SAJ-certified race course, the Diamond Slope, with its powder snow, and the Lesson Slope, which is reserved for beginners and children. The snow park also puts an emphasis on snowboarding, with facilities such as the Super Pipe, jumps and rails. It is also possible to use the auto campsite during the summer.

This prefectural astronomical observatory is located in Nakayama, Takayama Village, Agatsuma County, Gunma Prefecture. Its construction was planned in commemoration of Chiaki Mukai, the first Japanese female astronaut going to space, and was opened in 1999. It is equipped with a 150-centimeter telescope and a 65-centimeter telescope. Events such as telescope lessons and star guidance qualification courses are regularly held here. There are also exhibition spaces for things such as viewing solar telescope images and observational data, in addition to a shop which sells space food and illustrated reference books.

The resort's massive 4,000-meter-long slope experiences a 600 meter difference in elevation and is outfitted with 10 courses appropriate to skiers of all levels, from beginner to advanced. On Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, the resort is open until 11 p.m. and it also opens up at 6 a.m. on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays. The resort's full array of facilities includes the Gate House and Rest House lodges, and the popular ski and snowboarding destination is the leading snow resort in the Minakami area.

2/28（火）初訪問。県内なので下道で行ったが、首都圏からの人は、水上ICからスキー場まで道路には雪がない（地下水で融雪している）ので、雪道が苦手な人にはお勧めです。駐車場から最初のリフトが階段上がったところにあるのはちょっと辛い。駐車場に降りてくる下山の初級コースは絶対に使わないこと。

This ski resort is in an excellent area which overlooks the mountain range of Joetsu boundary area. It is located approximately 40 minutes from the Kan’etsu Expressway Minakami Interchange, via National Route 293, heading towards Yu no Koya. More than half of the courses are suitable for beginner and intermediate-level skiers, so it is recommended for first-time skiers. There are, of course, also courses which advanced-level skiers will find enjoyable, and it is also possible to snowboard here. There is a kids’ park where children can enjoy playing with sleds, so even small children can safely enjoy playing in the snow. The ski resort is located adjacent to Hotel Sunbird, and all of the courses are designed conveniently to end in front of the hotel.

カッパクラブのエアーボードツアーでこちらの藤原スキー場を利用しました！スキー場自体はそんなに大きくはないですが、人が少なく、エアーボードの私たちには快適でした♪ エアーボードで滑るゲレンデはとても迫力ありました！所々ツリーランもできて、楽しかったです！初めての方やファミリーの方はゆっくり滑れて良いと思います！

An art museum in Tanigawa, Minakami Town, Tone County. Alongside paintings by Japanese modern Wester-style artists such as Portrait of Reiko by Ryusei Kishida their collection includes works by Edo period artists including Ogata Korin, pieces by European masters including those of Rodin and Picasso, Joseon Dynasty Korean porcelain, and more. The art museum's building was a posthumous design by architect Junzo Yoshimura.

The ski resort has a diverse layout, with a wide range of courses, from the Downhill Course, which always has deep powder snow for advanced skiers to enjoy, to courses which beginners can easily enjoy, as well as a Snow Park and a Kids’ Land. There is also a Kids’ Laboratory, where children can improve while learning in a fun-filled way.

This ski resort, designed with nature and mankind in mind, is located in Minakami Town, Tone County, Gunma Prefecture. In addition to the wild beginner to advanced courses, there is also a slope which is reserved for snowboarding only. It is also possible to play on sleds in the Children’s Plaza at the foot of the mountain. From the peak of Imakura-daira at the top of the second pair lift, which is one kilometer long, the magnificent Tanigawa mountain range is visible from up close. On the irregularly announced Premium Powder Days, 90% of the top of the slopes is non-compacted snow, and visitors can fully enjoy skiing on the fresh snow.

A farmers market located a 15-minute drive from the Tsukiyono interchange on the Kan-Etsu Expressway. The market sells safe, healthy produce year-round and also holds food education farming experiences which teach participants the fun of making and the fun of flavor. Here you can purchase fresh vegetables harvested that very day and, depending on the season, go cherry and blueberry picking. The market also offers classes where you can make soba noodles by hand using 100% locally grown buckwheat flour. The market's restaurant serves soba noodle dishes with home grown vegetables and edible wild plants as well as udon noodles and donburi rice bowls.
