This konjac-themed interactive facility is located in Obata, Kanra Town, Kanra County. Visitors can tour a factory and learn about the konjac production process, experience making konjac jelly and handmade konjac (reservations required by the day before), and other activities to deepen their knowledge about konjac. This store is located approximately 15 minutes by taxi from the JR Takasaki Station, or approximately 20 minutes from the Kan-etsu Expressway Takasaki Interchange. Foremost Daruma producer in the country, and located in Takasaki City, this store makes and sells Takasaki Daruma. It produces various types and sizes of handmade Daruma, from Fuku Daruma to Maneki Neko-shaped Daruma, in huge quantities. Apart from a few certain varieties, it is possible to have names printed on the Daruma, and while the workshop is usually off-limits to the public, there are also original eyebrow and beard-drawing experience events available. (A reservation is required.)

This tourism facility is located in Ueno Village, Tano County, Gunma Prefecture, at the final stop of the Ueno Village bus route. It is operated by Ueno Cooperative Association of Fisheries. In addition to sightseeing information provided by large multi-screen monitors and television broadcasts, there is also a rest area where visitors can find information on the internet. There is also a shop which sells a large selection of Ueno Village souvenirs, including products made from Jukkoku miso and inobuta (a wild boar—domestic pig hybrid), and a café corner, where visitors can enjoy coffee, ice cream and a mushroom curry made with an abundant amount of locally grown mushrooms.

This confectionary store is located inside Fujioka City's Roadside Station, Laran Fujioka. The store’s flagship product, Gouter de Roi is a gem that is made with the most suitable flour for Gateau Rusk and the very best carefully selected butter. The store also sells Gouter de Roi Sommelier Italien, which uses Italian basil and Parmigiano, and Gouter de Reine, a cross between Gouter de Rusk and a raisin sandwich, available only in the Gunma Prefecture, and which is a snack fit for a queen. Located in Kenzaki Town, Takasaki City, Gunma Prefecture, this Japanese-style confectionery shop can be found by looking for the red shop curtain with its name. The popular “chigomochi” won Honorary President Award at the National Confectionary Exposition in Mie and sells 3,000 per day. Only available from mid-December to early May, the shop is overrun with reservations for this new standard of Takasaki—high-quality Gunma strawberries (“yayoi hime”) wrapped in white bean jam and habutae mochi. The shop also has famous treats like “Takasaki daruma tezukuri monaka” and “nagori no yuki” with yam buns.

日曜、開店の午前9時に行きましたが、すでに行列。開店と同時にすでに前日までに予約している方を優先に商品の販売がされるので、当日購入のためには20分ほど待ちました。ここの一押しは、地元の苺やよいひめを使った苺大福のちごもち。並んだ甲斐あるわ！と思わせてくれる大粒で甘い苺にもちもちの求肥が絶妙な一品です。

This is a bakery, loved by the locals, near the Yanaka Elementary School, ten minutes by car from Takasaki Station on the JR Takasaki line. The bakery opens at 7:00 am and offers many kinds of bread such as sweet buns, savory bread, and bread for meals. The homemade curry in the in the ever-popular curry bread is delicious. To keep the umami flavor, the beef, onion, and carrot are grilled and then boiled, and then carefully flavored with two types of curry roux and a secret ingredient. Baked confectionaries such as Croquembouche and other sweets are also recommended. There is a free coffee service offered to patrons as well as a place to eat on site.

学校が近いせいなのか、時間帯によっては駐車場も一杯になったり、狭い店内にはほかの客のことを考えもせず、話し込んでいる地元のお母さんたちなどがいたりで、最近は滅多に行くことがなくなりました。パンは種類多くて味はまあまあ、ちょっと値段が高いかな。

This is a specialty spice store, founded in 1896, creating an original blend of seven kinds of spice using red pepper, sesame, hemp seed, Sancho Japanese pepper, dried citrus peel (mandarin peel) perilla, and aonori (green laver) using traditional recipes. In addition to standard cans, the shop also sells cute peanut-shaped bottles with red, yellow and green caps. The spice flavor is usually medium or spicy, but even spicier flavors are available on Saturday and Sunday.

This Western confectionary outlet shop is located a three-minute walk from JR Takasaki Station. The shop sells confections such as roll cake ends and crepes with less than perfect visual appearance at outstanding prices, and you can buy products that taste the same and bear the same quality as their regular counterparts for cheap. There's also an eat-in space, plus sweets sold only here and not in normal stores. Particularly recommended is the rich and flavorful special custard pudding. You can also have your purchases placed in a gift box for giving to someone.

Mayu Kayu Tajimaya is a Japanese-style confectionery store located in Takumi, Tomioka City. The store’s well known confection, mayukomori, which resembles the shape of a cocoon in connection with the Tomioka Silk Mill, is dissolved in warm water to make an exquisitely smooth and gentle tasting kuzu-yu, or arrowroot tea. They also have green tea and ginger flavors too. Mayu Kayu Tajimaya also sells their mayukuwa monaka (bean jam filled wafers) in the shape of a cocoon, and their silk du rayaki, a bean jam pancake with Tomioka silk inside.

Gunma Annaka-shi Isobe 1-13-3

A Japanese confectioner in Isobe 1-Chome, Annaka City. They're known for their specialty Isobe Senbei cracker made with mineral water from the local Isobe hot spring as well as other simple ingredients including flour and sugar. It's been loved for nearly 130 years due to its light texture and melt-in-your-mouth feeling. They also sell a variety of other flavors of senbei crackers including Miso-flavor and hot spring manju buns. The attached cafe additionally serves meals.

夕方5時過ぎに温泉街と言うか、せんべいストリートと名の付く通りを歩いていて、ハッキリと営業中の判ったのはこちらだけでした。外から店舗の中が良く見えて、しかも綺麗でしたので、足を踏み入れやすかったです。新旧、甘いのもお酒のつまみになりそうなのも、色んな種類の磯部せんべいが揃っていて試食出来ます。選ぶのが楽しくなります。

They're known for their Karinto-Manju bun, a treat where red bean paste is wrapped with a brown sugar dough and then deep fried in oil. The exterior has a crunchy texture and it's known as Japan's hardest Karinto-Manju.
