    This farmers market opened in 2009 is located an 18-minute/10 kilometer drive from the Shibukawa-Ikaho interchange on the Kan-etsu Expressway via Prefectural Route 33. In addition to fresh picked vegetables, the market's diverse selection includes Mizusawa udon noodles, Ikaho Onsen manju buns, and fresh flowers. Of particular note is the market which sells local products straight from the producers. Selling organic vegetables, specially cultivated vegetables, and mineral-rich vegetables, all of the vegetables reassuringly bear the name of the producer and production area. Yukian, the market's restaurant, serves spicy, flavorful curry udon noodles.

    四万温泉の帰りに立ち寄りました、地元食材を求めて午前中訪問したのですが、期待した生鮮野菜は有りませんでした。店としては地方のスーパーと言う感じで、お土産を買い求めに立ち寄るほうが適切なのかもしれません。

    "This product store which deals in specialty products is located approximately 20 minutes by the bus heading towards Ikaho Hot Spring from the JR Shibukawa Station. It has a wealth of specialty products and famous confectionery made in Gunma Prefecture. Two varieties—mashed red bean paste, and smooth red bean paste—of Yu no Hana Manju are made and sold here. The Matcha flavor, which has Matcha mixed in is also a very popular limited product. The store also recommends one of Japan's three great udon, ""Mizusawa Udon"", as well as the various local specialty Konjac produced in Gunma Prefecture. The store has a restaurant, for customers to easily stop by."

    上州産のお土産をいろいろ買おうと思い立ち寄ったのですが、期待が大き過ぎたのか、うどんやお饅頭はあまり色々なお店のものは置いておらず、メーカーの選択肢は少ないという印象でした。 また、肉味噌は伊勢の会社が製造、高菜漬けは九州の会社が製造し、販売は群馬県の会社 というような製品が有りますので、群馬産のお土産が欲しいのであれば、パッケージをよく確認した方が良いです。

    "This shop which sells Joshu's specialty Yaki Manju operates from an old Japanese-style house associated with Kunisada Chuji. Kunisada Chuji was a rebel of the late Edo Period, a great sinner according to the ruling class, and a Robin Hood-type hero according to the locals. The shop's name comes from the fact that it was built from materials recovered from the assumed last hiding place of Chuji. The shop recommends eating its fluffy Manju, flavored with plenty of sweet miso sauce, at the fireplace inside the shop while they're still hot. The Saka-manju coated with sauce and baked to make ""Baked Manju with red bean paste filling"" are also popular."

The store is, in fact, a relocated Japanese-style house. Inside, various miscellaneous items line the shelves, such as recycled kimono, clothing with original designs, creative clothing made from old materials, Chirimen craftworks, natural stones, and others. Among these items, is a huge Tsurushi Kazari that hangs from the ceiling and is listed in the Guinness Book of Records for the number of decorations that make it up.     朝採れ野菜が店の前で販売されていました。紅心大根１００円長いも１００円等１０数種類が販売されていました。フランスパンとパウンドケーキ買って来ました。小麦粉やバター、酵母にもこだわって作っている様です。楽しみです。

The shop’s tama konnyaku are steeped in a soy sauce-based broth similar to oden. Customers can add self-serve toppings such as karashi mustard, and many commenters on internet dining review websites note how the piping hot konnyaku warms you up from the inside out.     Ever since its founding in 1857, this shop has focused on making manju buns. After adding malted rice to wheat and letting it ferment, a secret sauce containing red miso, granulated sugar, and other ingredients is added repeatedly before the bun is baked. The shop closes when it sells out, so it’s best to go early. The charming building is modeled after a private Joshu home like the one the original owner grew up in. It is about 10 minutes by car from JR Maebashi Station.

    群馬県の名物だと知って食べてみることにしました。 こちらは遊園地るなぱあくのすぐそば。 なかなか渋い店構えです。 1串に4つの大きな焼き饅頭。 多いとは思いましたが3串買いました。 餡子などの中身は入っておらず、パンのような焼き饅頭にみたらしが塗ってありました。 これは一個でお腹にたまります。 案の定余ってしまいました。 翌日に食べるのはオススメしません。 固くてベタベタです。
