    This complex-accommodation facility is located approximately 30 minutes by taxi from the JR Manza-Kazawaguchi Station, or alternatively, 60 minutes by shuttle bus from the Uedaeki onsen-guchi. In addition to the complex's two different magnificent views of the surrounding forest from the rooms available, it also has Kumoi no Yu, an outdoor bath, and entertainment such as Momijigari (autumn-leaf viewing), and enjoyable nature-filled activities such as night hiking and camping. In the restaurant, guests are able to enjoy a seasonal menu with items such as Joshu beef, highland vegetables and Matsutake mushrooms.

    A forest primarily consisting of Japanese beech 1,400 meters above sea level a 50-minute drive from the Minakami Interchange on the Kan-Etsu Expressway. Selected for inclusion in the Top 100 Forested Water list compiled by the Forestry Agency, visitors can go hiking and taking in soothing natural beauty. The forest has nine hiking courses, including ones visiting the Teriha Valley and Tashiro wetlands, and visitors can take in seasonal scenery. The forest is particularly popular during the fall foliage season, bustling with tourists during this time. Tributaries of the Tone River also flow here and in summer you can cool down and play in their waters. There's also a free campground in the forest where you can barbecue.
