    Tambara Lavender Park is a facility that opens every year from late June to early September where a lavender field and more than 100 types of wonderful flowers can be seen. In the summer two lifts operate and visitors can see the Tambara groves and highlands as well as the lavender fields from above, as if walking on air. Also a lavender oil extraction demonstration and a craft experience are available for visitors. It is located 30 minutes from the Numata Interchange on the Kan-Etsu Expressway.

    大きなバラ園ですが、無料で入場出来るのが嬉しいです。 敷地内に蚕糸記念館があって、私が訪れた時にはイベントがあって、無料で座繰体験や、繭玉クラフト体験に参加できたのも良かったです。

    A botanical garden in Morikuma, Nishikamiakima, Annaka City. The plot covers 5 hectares which was cleared by the owner and then a wide variety of trees were planted including plum trees and cherry trees. From mid-March to mid-April nearly 200,000 daffodils come into bloom and from early April to late May nearly 30,000 azaleas come into bloom making for a wondrous sight.

In the nearly 3 hectares garden you'll find a Hemerocallis Daylily Garden, a Dahlia Garden, and the Rainbow Garden which is filled with over 500 different varieties of flowers. Amongst them all the centerpiece is the bearded irises, also called the rainbow flower for the myriad of colors that it takes, and from early May to early June nearly 100,000 flowers come into bloom covering the hill making a beautiful sight for you to enjoy.

    A botanical garden located next to Akabori Isonuma Park in Iso-cho, Isesaki City. Lotus flowers have been planted in what was the former moat of Tenbaku Castle built in the late Muromachi period. The lotuses bloom from early June to mid-august in the early to mid-morning, and in the blooming season they hold the Tenbaku Castle Akabori Hasuen Festival where they have a variety of events including distributing dried lotus flowers.

    A botanical garden in Terao-machi, Takasaki City. The theme of the garden is Japan's dyeing and weaving culture and the plants that make up the raw ingredients for traditional Japanese dyes are planted according to the era in which they were classified, from the Asuka period (Late 6th and 7th century) to present day. The garden is also home to a dyeing and craft museum focusing on the dyed and woven fabric works. Special hands-on events and classes for plant based dyeing and indigo dyeing are also held (Prior application required).
